Zombie movies have been done to death and pretty much every single one is the same as far as concept goes. There's an outbreak and nobody knows what's going on and nobody has seen anything like it before. Random strangers band together to try to survive, emotional teenage girl or women does something stupid which compromises the group and gets someone killed. Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead tried to do something different by adding comedy to it and they were good movies but overall it was still pretty much the same. The Walking Dead is IMO the best zombie media so far.

Now here's my concept. A "real world" zombie apocalypse. Basically a movie about what would happen if an outbreak did happen. It would be centered around a group of friends who are zombie enthusiasts. They've watched all the movies and played all the games. They've even gone as far as preparing for the apocalypse as a joke but now the $h!t is about to hit the fan we'll get to see what they would do to survive. The movie will have heart pounding action, horror, comic relief with just a tad bit of drama. It will be structured kind of like Pulp Fiction where events shown are not in chronological order and will have a few different story lines of different people that will connect to each other during the movie.

Now all this needs is someone important to read this post and get a script written up and pitched to a famous director. lol
