Fine, But I am not against guns but when some guy says he's gonna carry a gun around to protect himself, to me thats idiotic. No offense to Canada and I realy feel Canadiens should be proud of the low murder rate up there. Whatever you guys do seems to work. I posted a few out of many examples of where just handing over your wallet was not good enough . They got the money and killed the person anyway . I know you don't seem to want to defend your self but I'm not of that mindset . I'm sure you'll not read any more links that I post and I'm not going to change your mind . I find that those with the same attitude as yours ( I can't be trusted to do X so no one else must be able to be either ) are hugely against personal rights . You say its ok for a person to have a gun but yet you also call him an idiot for caring it around for self defense . I have known 4 people that have pulled their guns and used them to great effect ( they weren't robbed or killed ) . I've personally ended a threatening situation at a gas station and one at a my house by just having one ( hand on it but not drawn yet ) . Both times the situation was escalating faster than words would have subdued . One person wanted to rob me and the other wanted to cause me harm ( handing my money over would not have saved me ) . I've posted links where people have been killed after giving everything over ( cash , sex , etc ) and some that refused and shot the attackers . I dare you to show me a few links where some one tried to defend themselves and got killed from it , I'm sure it happens just not nearly as often as you claim .

Awesome post & excellent links hitman. A shame sheeple like chicagowhitesox will still be in denial that the 1st responder to any assault on yours or your family, friends lives, is you, not the cops, firemen or EMTs. He also likes to wishfully think that every single time he sets foot outside his door, nothing bad will ever happen to him. I bet the 23 people that went out to have a nice lunch at Lubys in Killien, Tx back in Oct of 1991, thought the very same thing. For 14 minutes the gunman had all thetime in the world to pump rd after rd into the 23 victims & wound 20 more before 4 cops arrived. If just 1 or more of the patrons eating at Lubys had been armed themselves, this scumbag might have been put down sooner & only a small amount of people may have been killed or wounded. This very incident is what caused the enactment of the carry conceal law in Tx shortly afterwards.
