This week I watched the 1983 alien creature film called The Deadly Spawn and loved it. It's a very low budget film sorta like The Video Dead was but The Deadly Spawn had some great makeup creature effects and gory kills.

It's about a meteorite hitting a small town and unleashing a creature that eats people and then it gives birth to 100's of offspring.

I have it on bluray and it has alot of special features on it.

If you love 80's, gore, cheese, etc......I think you will like this film.

This is one movie that always eluded me and never saw it. No video stores here ever had it. Maybe Neflix instant will get it.

You can buy it on amazon new or used on dvd or get it used on vhs.

It is good. Just remember to temper your expectations. I have it in my collection.

It was one of those...I saw it as a kid...what is it like to watch today movies.
