Free agency hits tomorrow and the draft is around the corner. Skins gave up a lot to move to number 2, the plan is to pick up RGIII, which assumes that the Colts take Luck at 1. Either way we finally get a QB!!

Im more worried about them moving up to Los Angeles if they dont work out a new stadium deal soon. They still need a new head coach that can fire up this team.

Don't get too excited, your owner overspent in the uncapped year and now you guys will have 70% of the salary cap the rest of the teams in the league will. NFC East will be a three team race for another couple seasons.

This was a statement released a little earlier:

Bruce Allen

“The Washington Redskins have received no written documentation from the NFL concerning adjustments to the team salary cap in 2012 as reported in various media outlets. Every contract entered into by the club during the applicable periods complied with the 2010 and 2011 collective bargaining agreements and, in fact, were approved by the NFL commissioner’s office. We look forward to free agency, the draft and the coming football season.”


It's 36 million over the next couple of years, even if we pay half this year we're still 30 million under the cap at this point. We'll see how it plays out.
