I'm not here ro talk about great slasher films like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Scream, etc.....
I wanna talk about b-movie slasher films that had under say $500,000 budget and were cheesy from the 80's.
I love low budget slasher such as:
Pieces
Slaughter High
The Slayer
The Mutilator
Scalps
Evil Laugh
Splatter Univeristy
etc......
I will start off with a classic chees slasher that I so love and it's:
He Knows you're Alone - came out in 1980 and even has Tom Hanks in a small role in it as a nerd. But overall this was a very cool film about a serial killer going after women who are about to be wed. He got dumped buy his ex financee so he killed her and starts going after other women who are about to wed. The cop after him is the one his ex was gonna marry.

Don't Go in the Basement was an interesting one where the killer would tie up women in his special room and kill them with a flame thrower and roast them alive.
I really like The Slayer and Scalps. I think it's because of the cool double feature vhs they were put on together. I need to buy dvds of each film.

Yes I do like Don't Go in the Basement alot and it stars a regular from The Soprano's on it. The Slayer was filmed here in Georgia at Tybee Island near Savannah and I have it on vhs and wish it would get a dvd release someday cause Scalps is on dvd which I have too.

We are both wrong lol Brian......the film was Don't Go in the House. It came out in late 70's and he killed women by using a flame thrower in a room.
Don't Go in the Basement came out in like '71 and was bout fruitcakes in a mental house.
