Looks like David Moody is asking for the support of all the zombie lovers out there.

Link: http://isolationmovie.net/content/

He is making a new movie based on his own set of zombie rules (featured in Autumn) and asking for help developing it.

For those of you not familiar with his work, he has produced cult favorites such as Autumn and Hater.

Love him or hate him, there is no denying his passion and loyalty to his fans.

His movie Autumn was terrible...I wasn't a fan of his book either.

To be fair I don't think he had any influence over the movie , so I blame the crappy artsy direction on the director Steven Rumbelow. (Who also wrote the screen play.)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1198333/

A lot of crap in the Autumn movie wasn't in the FIRST novel, like the stupid ass clown who ruined the rest of the movie for me. They also changed the character of Carl into some kind of noble hero, those who read the first book probably hated this as much as I did.

I didn't think the first novel was that great either, but it was a lot better then the movie was.

As for the books I like them better as a trilogy because the first novel is really weak on it's own. However if you look as the first three stories as one single entity it is really a lot better then what most people give it credit for.

What is he actually asking for there on the site? Just think about scary zombie scenes? It always seems a bit odd when an independent projects asks fans to think of scenes. I wouldn't mind helping out if they want to collaborate with others, but not if it's because they can't think of their own ideas.

The way I understand it, he is actually offering people a job to those who have the time to get involved.

I suppose that applies to those who know how to make a movie or lend their own creative talents.

As for those who don't know anything about making a movie, he is asking "What would you like to see in a zombie movie?"

I don't think it means he doesn't have his own ideas. He is just offering a platform for people's voices to be heard.

Nice! Let us know if he ever responds!

Maybe he'll give a nod to us humble folks at ATZ forums in the future.

A lot of people say that, but I don't understand.. I rather enjoyed the movie, I thought it was original and well-paced. *shrug*

I liked his books well enough.I dind't especially care for the way he handled some of the stuff but I have read far worse.Especially now that so many people are self publishing absolute garbage on Crapazon. It's just a matter of time before women start writing zombie novels now.Zombie romance novels, just what we need.Women for the most part can't write for a male audience.

My wife agrees and says they can't write for women either. She reads allot and always says that she can't stand women writers. Especially horror.

LOL, what? You sound like an old grandpa. The sweet misogynist that just doesn't know any better. Of course there's zombie books written by women, and zombie romance things written by men. I dunno if any of them are good though, I haven't read any.
I suppose it'd also be a fair statement to say that men for the most part can't write for a female audience. But I don't consider the zombie genre inherently male or female.

I am an old Grandpa.
My attitudes were forged in the turmoil of the 60s.

Misogynist huh?
Big word for a small brain.
Prefacing it with the word "sweet" does not change it's meaning or make it less an insult.
Does not know any better?
I AM an ALPHA male what are you?
You seem all sensitive and caring with this post are you a Metrosexual?
