I just watched this remake of the 70's tv made for movie and think it was completely boring so don't waste your money on this dvd like I did.

The film is produced by Guillerimo Del Toro and stars Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes and it still was lame.

The creatures in it were CGI and too cartoonish imho.

Don't let that trailer link above fool ya.....I thought the trailer for it was cool when I saw it on tv but I was wrong after watching the film.

Anyone else watched this snoozefest yet?

Damn, I was looking forward to renting this. Why do so many new horror films suck now?

It wasn't all bad, though the only thing that annoyed me was how long it took the parents to believe their child I think what peeved most people off is that Del Toro wrote and produced it and from his past work everyone had high expections.

As for bad CGI I think the goblin thingys were impressive looking but then that made them less scarey as I kept thinking "Flip thats well done."

Though it is well made it won't really make you jump, which is what you want during this type of film.
