Schoolgirl Apocalypse looks good. But the shit cgi in Lust turns me right off. It's sad that even the Japanese filmmakers have resorted to piss poor cgi for their movies.

Masatoshi Tamai's medium-length (its listed running time is 47 minutes) movie Undead Dragon: shiryô yûgi and Iguchi's Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead are scheduled to be screened at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival (Yûbari Kokusai Fantasutikku Eigasai) - "Yubari Fanta" for short - in Japan on February 24th; Murakami's Zomvideo and Tomomatsu's Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead are scheduled to be screened there on February 26th.

BTW, Iguchi's latest movies are Harapeko Yamagami-kun: gekijô-ban - co-directed with Yoshihiro Nishimura and Jun Shiozaki - and Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: igyô; they're also scheduled to be screened at Yubari Fanta on February 24th.

Cabal Epaulettes are shoulder protectors that can be equipped with armor suits. When equipped with an Epaulette, it automatically interacts with the wearer's armor suit, and endows the wearer's equipment with a special attribute or changes the appearance Cabal Alz. They are remnants of the ancient Core Technology, and on very rare occasions dropped from monsters. However, even if an epaulette is obtained, not everyone can activate the magical effect of the armor, but only a powerful warrior will become the true owner.

WTF? SSPPAAMM!!!!!

Man, this one looks good too. More emotional than the rest.

I like Godzilla. The other ones are just often long and like british comedy...the same thing over and over.

Ringu broke ground but created a monster so to speak.

But have you actually seen Tetsuo the Iron Man? Because that one is definitely not the same thing as the usual Japanese ghost stories.

Undertaker

A special trailer for Iguchi's Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead has been added to YouTube. Also, the official website for Kawamatsu's Undertaker is now functional, and on it is a stills gallery for the movie.

Those who are interested in Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead may also wish to watch the theatrical and teaser trailers for Iguchi's upcoming Dead Sushi (Deddo sushi). According to the synopsis for the latter on Gaijinsploitation.com, it features killer sushi that "multiplies, infecting humans and turning them into zombie-like creatures."

Yeah, Japanese know horror. Forget all that Grudge and Ringu crap. For a nice disturbing piece, check out Imprint by Takashi Miike, a "banned" episode of Masters of Horror.
Then check out other Miike fare, like Visitor Q and Ichi the Killer.. whew. Good stuff.

Haaaaaa hahaha, oh man, another weird hilarious thing from Japan with that Dead Sushi...

I have never seen Tetsuo but heard of it. Is it gory at all?

Linked to below are two pairs of rather large - and rather politically incorrect - production stills from Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead; the second pair features Yui Aikawa. Primewave Nexeed Corporation (Puraimuwêbu Nekushîdo K.K.) released the movie on sale DVD in Japan today (March 2nd); the DVD is being distributed by Albatros Co. Ltd. (Arubatorosu K.K.).

It has some gore in it ,but it's more of a cyber punk movie shot in black and white and contains some of the craziest shots ever filmed.

A teaser trailer for Bishop Koyama's upcoming Rain for the Dead (Ame-agari no kimi) has been added to YouTube.

The screenplay for Rain for the Dead (Ame-agari no kimi) was written by Koyama, based on the eponymous (with regard to the Japanese title) short manga (viewer discretion is advised) by Waita Uziga (who's also the movie's executive producer). The movie stars (listed order corresponds to trailer order) Masaya Adachi, Marie Ono, and Jin Chikamatsu. It features special make-up effects by Zerai Naoi (Yûichi Naoi).

BTW, if you haven't already done so, be sure to watch the seven-second teaser trailer for Naoyuki Tomomatsu's upcoming Awa-hime onmyôji kidan. The sixth movie in the Nippon Splatterotics series of international sales agent The KlockWorx Co. Ltd. (K.K. KurokkuWâkusu), Awa-hime onmyôji kidan stars Mau Morikawa (viewer discretion is advised) and Miho Wakabayashi.
