From BuyZombie: http://www.buyzombie...son-trailer-2/. Now THIS looks good. YES. Definitely has a Dead Island kinda feel.

What happens when the world ends due a zombie outbreak and 2 survivors find an apparent deserted island to flee too? Well if you thought a happy ever after ending was what was going to happen next that wouldn’t be too interesting of a movie now would it? Let’s mix it up so that the deserted island in fact already has a community living on it, one that has a dark secret at it’s center.

Synopsis:
A year after the dead have risen and decimated the world’s population, two survivors escape to a safe haven on a deserted island, only to discover that it’s just as deadly as where they came from.

I had zero interest in the trailer until 1:40 mark then it looked decent. Lets hope the movie is more like the last 30 seconds of the trailer.

Well of course you need background and character development and all that to make the story worthwhile. The last 30 seconds was just action and shooting zombies and blood, lol. That would suck if that's all it were.

What I meant was the first half of the trailer looked like every other boring zombie film that has been coming out. The action made their film look better than most of the others. Seriously, when it comes to story now a days, every zombie movie is doing the same exact thing so the action and gore is all there is left to look forward to.

This is On Demand now. I watched their trailer and I have zero interest in this again. Looks like 10 other films.

Well, that's not a very good sign. I would almost rather see no trailer at all then to have a preconceived notion generated by viewing the trailer. Trailers can usually be pretty fair indicators of the quality of the film, unless of course, the studio puts all the good stuff in the trailer and the rest of the movie is curled up in the fetal position wailing and crying out loud, "Why doesn't the audience like me; how come zombie movie fans have to have standards?!"

The problem I had this time with the trailer is right away they refer to them as "walkers" which feels like they are cashing in on The Walking Dead right off the bat. Then the characters already annoyed me in the trailer. Some of them seemed like they watched the asshole security guards from Dawn of the Dead 04 and tried to act just like them. The zombies didn't look interesting either.

Filmmakers need to put forth some effort and come up with new shit!

No problem MrOrange.. Looks like it's available for pre-order on Amazon now ($25), and coming out July 31st. Seems to be DVD format only.

I watched it on ppv yesterday and really liked it. when they are puzzled by the appearance of runners after a year of walkers only, I liked how the audience saw how they came about, but the characters didn't.

I found a copy of this at Wally World. I actually liked it. It wasn't wonderful but it was enjoyable. The "walkers" thing did annoy me a little, though. God forbid they would come up with a more original name for the zombies. It did feel like they ripped other small bits off from other movies. If you haven't seen it, it is worth the view.

It looks pretty good to me. I think these new zombie films are usually pretty good. How can you change a zombie movie story? This one looks different anyways with how the survivors go to a island to try and survive. It sure looks like it beats out any old zombie movie like DAY OF THE DEAD.
