The idea of a transfusion curing vampirism has never sat well with me.

I don't think it sat well with a lot of people... But this movie is somewhat unique in many ways.
They also tried in on Dark Shadows with Barnabas. Actually it was some kind of serum.

LOL---it is an interesting movie! Plenty of action. Thanks for coming into the thread to chat tonight--I know it is a pain. :)

See, this is why 'Vampires On The Road' wouldn't work... You have to settle down ,and get a big ass scary house to crash in.

It wasn't that bad, I had fun anyway... I'll promise you next time everything will be all fixed and ready to go... I just hope the same number of people show up again.

Just watched it, very forgettable, simple movie; no real meat to sink your teeth into. It was ok for one watch but I'll never watch it again.
It definitely has that feel, in a "I struggle to find things redeemable about this movie" kind of way

Only really "bad" part of the movie for me. Other than that I enjoyed it. Interesting take on vampires. This movie is from 87' so as far as I know it was unique.

"Just an FYI.......They tried a few times to cure Barnabas of his 'affliction' only one, that I can remember, ever showed any promise, and that was the experiment with Adam, the Man-made Human., "
