It's a tough call. I would personally save my child first. The reason is I feel that I would lose my will to live if I didn't put her first. Theres pros and cons of course. If you were only able to save the wife you could have more children (which would be wrong during a zombie apocalypse. It would be fun trying though). She could help carry supplies and keep up were a child may hold you back. I can go on, but over all I would still save my daughter first since shes 8 and already know how to kill zombies and survive while my wife would only set us back.
Who would you save first, wife or child?

seeing as my child is dead and my ex wife i wish was dead i cant save one and wont save the other so id save my beer instead

Yeah but, some points to consider:
1. You'll totally starve to death waiting 9 months for your wife to pop out your next meal. A child is right there, ready to eat.
2. It will take the zombies longer to eat an entire wife than one small child, giving you more time to escape with your meal.
3. Wives are bitter and cold, it stands to reason that their meat would be the same way.
4. A child can be eaten in a week or so, therefor taking much less effort to preserve what you can't finish in the first meal.
5. Wives can't leave the kitchen. Once you eat her, you have to stay next to the stove until she's completely digested. Very inconvenient!

I have neither a wife nor a child (as far as I know anyway) so it's hard to say. It really depends on who they were. So let's say if I had a wife like Ann Coulter and a child like Justin Bieber, well, obviously I'd let them both perish. But if I had a wife like Trish Stratus and a child like Chloe Moretz, then I think I'd do my absolute damndest to save them both.

I'd personally try to save both, because no matter what, in a Zombie Apocalypse, a child without a mother is like a guy without balls.
And a mother without her child, is like...I don't know, but you get the idea.
Even if 1 dies, the other one suffers greatly. No matter how good a father you are, the child would always love and respond to a mother more.
That's how kids are...because I am one and I love my mom more. So it'd be better to save both, or sacrifice yourself for them to buy them time or so :/

why is it up too you to save them? If they need saved then for shame let them perish and make up a sad story about how you failed them thus winning the heart of a newer/attractive/younger/can protect herself and other woman... or many women.
