Was it me or was there way to many commercials on this weeks episode?

I wanted to get on my knees and act like Charlton Heston in The Planet of the Apes, and scream," Damn you all to Hell" After Shane died.

That was pretty fast that Shane came back as a walker so soon. I dont remember them doing any scenes about how people came back as walkers, Bites, scratchers, or ??? except a few shows back with the two security gaurd walkers, and on season one, episode one where the man, and his son asked if Rick had been bit.

Next weeks show will be interesting, all durning the time they were on the farm I was allmost screaming at the TV about why were they not boarding up the farmhouse, and fortifing it against the walkers like in Night of the Living Dead. We will see. Nice tio see T-Dog actually have a speaking part. They are way underusing his character.

Im sad, very sad that my hero Shane is gone, Fck it I need a bonghit right now.

Because, I'm pretty sure that anything that dies comes back as a zombie. I love that. That's probably what the CDC guy whispered in Rick's ear at the end of season 1, something along those lines. Maybe just that they're all infected since Rick was obviously not expecting Shane to return. I'm trying to think of another time a human died from something that wasn't a bite.. Perhaps some people turn faster than others, just like any other disease it can take varying times to really take hold.
Again, daaamn good episode. It was a little eerie driving in the complete blackness right after watching it.

It has to be an airborne virus of some sort. Guess, we will learn for sure in the season's finale what Dr. Jennings told Rick at the CDC. Excellent episode. When camera shot showed the long view of Rick and Shane up on the hill with the full moon in the background in the middle of their confrontation, I saw this as one of the most chilling scenes in the show. This is truly the best action drama on TV.

Unfortunately I feel we are about to see a big kill-off of the cast and T-Dog will be included in that.
Check out my story "Zombies Across the Border" in the books section and let me know what you think!

I'm not so sure, it's a mystery as to why they didn't just kill him off in the CDC for all the use he's been this season, so I imagine they're just keeping him around for the eventual return of Merle.
"'Mask you somethin'." - Shane's trademark line.

I'm gonna take a wild guess but Herchel, the short haired lady and a few of Herchels family die in next week's episode. Yeah I would have to agree with miniduffa on T-dog.

Thx also for telling me why they turned into zombie's too. I think you guy's are right. it's gotta be airborne.

So Rick and Shane walk and walk and walk some more looking for nothing and end up being a few fields away from the farm house. I really wish the writers would pay a little more attention to details. And again, no one is watching CARL!!! UGGGGGHHHHH Posted Image

Something I just posted to another group:

At the end of the 2012-03-11 episode, we see a herd of zombies coming out of the woods because of the gunshot.

At this point, the worst thing Rick and Carl could do is run to the house.

What I would suggest is Rick tell Carl to go down on the ground and then Rick could lead the zombies off, back towards the highway, making a lot of noise, and maybe firing the gun from time to time. Hopefully, they would follow him. But I'm assuming that a zombie's hearing is better than his sight.

Then, the others in the group could follow and use their pitchforks and machetes to ambush the straggling zombies from behind, one by one. When Rick got to the highway, he could try and rig a car's horn to stay on, attracting the zombies there while he slinks off quietly.

Could easily run into problems if Rick tripped in the dark, or ran into another herd of zombies coming from the opposite direction. But at least they would have been led away from the house.

I wonder if they could "corral" the herd of zombies like they do cows or horses, and then kill them at their leisure? Kind of like the kill point in a slaughterhouse. Come to think of it, some compressed air-powered bolt pistols might be quiet and effective weapons against the Zeds. Especially if they could mount them on some type of shaft so they don't have to be in close contact.
