I'm a fan of Crispen Glover so thought i would love this film but if i'm honest his performance was the best thing about it but i did like the kills but other than that the story just plodded along.

I was pretty disappointed in that too, I thought I'd like it. But no. I didn't like the direction he chose to take his acting in it either, I just found it annoying after a while. :-(

I was expecting to like Hell of the Living Dead (aka.. a zillion other titles, directed by Bruno Mattei) because it was Tarantino's favorite Italian grindhouse zombie flick.. after fiiiinally watching it after much searching, you can imagine my disappointment. It was then that my love-to-hate relationship with Mattei began.

"Insidious"

Though I was given a bit of hype before hand with the: 'scariest movie I've ever seen' speech.

It wasn't as scary as I was hoping for. I liked the concept, but the rest was meh. The demon was just...awful. What was meant to be a frightening demonic figure was pretty damn funny. So, I guess I did get my entertainment value from it, just not in the way I had hoped.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark was really disappointing. There were a couple frightening parts but it just couldn't deliver. It's too bad, because the trailer looked pretty good, and I almost always know if I'm going to enjoy a movie based upon the trailer.

I'm surprised. There have been quite a few disappointing trailers. I don't recall what movie, and i'll bet there's more than one, showed all the good parts in the trailer, and everything else in the movie was just plain bad.

I've also seen trailers where i thought the movie would suck, but it turned out really entertaining.

Yeah, 90% of the time I can tell if I'll like it and what kind of movie it'll be, it's a gift
