Is anyone else following this fabulous show?
It has walking dead but they call them wights. They have black hands and piercing, glowing blue eyes.

I read some of the first books. It has been so long I vividly remember the story all the time, yet enough that I know what's coming up before my wife! They have done a great job with the story and the cast. Very adult in nature. I've almost turned away a few times!
Sean Bean is on of my favorites, check out LOTR, joking. Check out Black Death, he made that movie. Mark Addy again shows his range. A Khal Drogo is Schwarzenegger's new replacement as Conan. Not often you see a show with a cliffhanger every episode. BSG is the only other I can think of off hand.

Really excellent show, it motivated me to start reading the books and I am now halfway through the 4th one can't wait to finish it and the 5th so I can finally start reading the message boards dedicated to that series without anyone spoiling anything for me.
Check out my story "Zombies Across the Border" in the books section and let me know what you think!

Why are we not talking about this?!?! I guess if we can keep to a consensus that we only talk about the show and not the books we can keep spoiler free.

Love this show!
I've only read the first book years ago, which equals the first season I suppose.
The second season developed even more, was even more political, and we got to go deep beyond the wall which was awesome.
If I had to choose a favorite character (and there are many characters).. it's probably either Daenerys Targaryen (the Khaleesi), or Tyrion Lannister ("The Imp"). I also quite like the little girl, Arya Stark.

This show actually got me to buy the books and read them, and I haven't read fantasy since I was. Shit I don't know, a teenager I suppose.
