While I agree with you in part, the contrarian in me must point out that I can show you many more who grew up repeating the cycle. Having sh1thead parents greatly increases your chances of being a sh1thead. It's the rare few who can overcome this.
I disagree. Having crappy parents is no excuse for crappy behavior. My family is rife with drug addicts, alcoholics, and wife beaters. My cousins and I rose above all that. People know right from wrong and make a conscious choice.

Well, his trolling is the most active discussion in US&D right now. It's been awhile since anything new was brought to the table.

I hear ya but you and you cousins are the exception, not the rule. Study after study proves this. If bad behavior is all that you're taught then it becomes your normal. Hopefully "you" figure it out before you end up in the system....how many of your friends or people that you knew didn't "make it"?
Personally, I spent a lot of time relearning what had been taught and as a father I continue to learn everyday. My sons will know that it's not okay to smash things to get your way, they will learn not to be bullies and tyrants, they won't be raised in fear....I have broken the cycle and it looks like you and your cousins did too.

Well, some of us are a whole lot older than that. I think Bob might have actually fought in the civil war

Most of them have led good, decent lives. Society teaches us right from wrong even if our parents don't. So again, no excuses.

Well if he made a post right now saying "LULZ FOOLD U! YOU BEEEN TROLD!" if my reaction is supposed to be "DAMNIT OH MAN YOU SONOVABITCH YOU TRICKED ME ARRGGGGGH" then he'll be disappointed.
If winning means committing time and effort to making yourself the covert antagonist on the message board over months and months, and keeping up this act just to get people to think you're a moron all to at some point reveal you're not, then winning's for losers.
The posts on this thread (and this board, in most of his threads) don't determine who's winning, probably more like who's losing.

Just asking:
Why the Air Force?
What was the deciding factor that made you choose the Air Force above the other branches?
