LOL--yeah, the bathtub scene was epic....I kept trying to imagine the length of time I could hold my head up in that position...when she removed the board, I was like..."sh**...that's it, I'm dead..."

The only Tinto Brass movie I have seen is Caligula.

Actually it was the opposite for me. My dad used to crack the sh!ts at alot of the stuff my mum let us watch. Hell, he still sometimes goes off at me over the stuff I watch. He walked in while I was watching Day of the Dead once, just in time to see Rhodes get torn in half. He crapped on at me about how people who make these movies are sick and people who watch them are even sicker.

I admit that my taste in books, art and movies can be a bit sick...and twisted. People who know me are surprised by my interests in horror..especially the zombie aspect. LOL! It's a good thing I do not carry this persona into my daily life, or I would be one dangerous girl!

Quite the opposite actually. My dad's a lifelong atheist and my mum was raised catholic but doesn't practice. She's more sort of agnosticish I suppose would be the best way to describe her, though she really doesn't have any set beliefs or ideas either way. She just believes in being a good person and helping people.
My mum's never had a problem with the movies I watch. My first zombie movie, Zombie Holocaust, was a video she hired out when I was a kid. She even watched Dawn of the Dead 78 when I hired it out the very first time when I was a teen. My dad's just a close minded loud mouth whose opinions and interests are the only ones worth having. Basically he thinks everyone's dumb except him. The grandkids even have a term they use for his know-it-all lectures. The UoP (University of Poppy).

LOL--there was not much about Shortbus that I did not like....strangely erotic in a lot of ways. If I remember correctly, there was more than one scene with self-pleasure...or maybe all the sex in this movie is blending together.... :)

Yup, those parts were. Oddly enough if it's two women (or 3 or 4) I tend to enjoy it. Strange, eh?

I recommend The Image as your next adventure if you haven't seen it yet. Pretty damn hot movie.
