Je Lin actually got out of the scout as well. "We should grab some food stuff. No telling how long we will be out." She shouldered her bookbag and entered behind him, staying in the kitchen as he went to his room. Je opened up her bookbag and started to put stuff from the pantry into it. Various granola and protein bars, canned foods, and an assortment of bottled drinks. She couldn't bring herself to get rid of her school books. She was still attached the the stigma of her near perfect GPA and just couldn't let got of the feeling, even if it would mean more room for supplies. She shouldered her bookbag, hearing Corey still busy upstairs and started to look around the house. Much fancier than the small apartment she was staying at with some exchange family and much more so that her place back in Korea. She briefly wondered if this thing had gotten across the ocean to the rest of the world as she walked into some sort of home office. In there her eyes fell upon one of those giant paper cutters and grinned. The next minute was spent with her forcing the blade of the paper cutter off and with a snap of the worn bolt she had herself a new weapon that she carried out with her, getting to the Scout just as Corey walked out of his house packing heat.

May watched a very pretty middle aged woman get in the car, everyone seemed to be ignoring her, she didn't mind, but she felt sick, the other car had swerved off towards the rich neighbourhood, probably where that Corey kid lived. She'd just see where the car headed.

"We should get somewhere to stay, we're not going to get to the airport past all the hordes in one night..." May suddenly blurted out, her face going red instantly.

Theodore heard no response he just kept on driving,His mom whispered "Theodore i have something..." she dug in her pockets Theodore looked over and immediately knew what it was.It was photo of Theodore,his mom and his dad,"I had to bring it....you look so handsome just like your dad...".Theodore smiled his mom began to cry,"Mom don't cry.."Theodore began to cry too .Theodore made peace with his fathers death,at first he was angry at god but he knew there was no sense in being mad his dad wouldn't want him to be."That's a good photo i'm glad you saved it!"."We should get somewhere to stay, we're not going to get to the airport past all the hordes in one night..." "I...I've gotta check my house..." May stuttered shyly, her fringe covering her beautiful features once more.
"Take a right turn here, I need to take the subway..." May crinkled up her face at these words, but it was the only way to her house. "Can someone maybe come with me?" May looked again at Theodore and David, she really did like both of these guys, life was so confusing for her...

"Next stop is May's family....I'll come with you May...." David said

He took a turn to the right to the subway station.

"Theodore, go look around here and scavenge some weapons and food, me and May'll go to the subway and go to her house...we'll be back....." David smiled

"Hey, why the **** do we have to wait here, what happens when some of those things come" yelled some nerd.

"Then fight back, alright then, you guys can go scavenge around the city for weapons and stuff, be careful, and if you have a chance to find some other working vehicle, take it and come back over here, this is we're we'll meet up" David declared.

"Alright" "Fine" "Sure" 'Hmm...k" these were the responses that David and Theodore got.

"Be careful guys, don't make contact with any other survivors unless it could be your family. They could be dangerous and infected." David said.

They nodded and went into groups.

"Later guys" Calvin and Jesse yelled.

"Later..." David said back.

"Alright May, come one let's go!" David said.

May blushed, both of the guys wanted to come with her. "You don't have to, I only really need one of you to come..." May whispered sweetly. "Maybe one of you should try to meet up with the other guys and then meet us back here?" May looked down into the darkness that occupied the space of the subway, hiding the faces of the walking deceased that could possibly be down in the once bustling underground station. "C'mon..." May said sheepishly, her small form shifting awkwardly. "Let's go..." May felt a little guilty, she didn't have any family, her parents were dead, clearly, but May had important things at that house and she wanted to get them...

David left they all starred at Theodore "OK this is the plan all the females get in the truck with my mom." Theodore looked at his mom "mom follow us!" He looked at the males there were nerd,jocks,punks you name it some had bats others nothing Theodore was responsible for these people he knew it."OK lets go guys we'll go on foot." He started to walk the truck right behind him.One of the jocks complained "Why do the the girls get to go in the truck?"Theodore shook his head "cus there girls and were men....there our top priority."

He looked back and saw May go into the subway "Remember call me if you need anything...stay safe" he kept walking the students were looking around the place was practically deserted garbage filled the streets,and bodies some gasped at the site Theodore kept his cool.A couple of stores were up ahead,Theodore kept walking when of the the students yelled "ey look a dollar store it looks empty theres gotta be loads of **** in here."Theodore walked to the truck"Mom stay in here...i'll be back."Theodore grabbed his bat"OK...please just be safe in there son." Theodore nodded.Theodore went back to the males pointing at one of the strong jocks "You come in here with me,the rest stay out here."Theodore looked at the jock who had a blunt object Theodore walked into the store tightly gripping the bat "You ready?" Je Lin had taken her new blade in hand and wandered down the street. "Empty. So empty..." She went up to a house and pressed her face up against a window. There was blood splattered across the room and a corpse was kneeling in the middle of the room, chowing down on the mutilated remains of someone. Je Lin gagged from behind her mask, causing the corpse to stop and turn to look at the window she was at. She backed away from the window just as the still fresh looking hand punched through the glass reaching for her and moaning loudly. More moans answered it's call and she cursed at herself. She swung her paper cutter at the hand, the heavy blade chopping it off, before she started to run down the street away from where the Scout was as there were some corpses falling out of caved in doorways between her and the car. She didn't want to lead them towards the people in the Scout since they seemed to be focused on her and yelled at the others. "The Subway! I see there!"

As she started to run away, the Pokemon Rap started to play on her cell phone which made her curse as she pulled out the yellow cellular from her pocket and answered it while running. "Anyung! Little busy at moment!" "Je, where are you? The buses from the schools came and you weren't on them!" Je blinked a bit at the sound of the dad of her exchange family she was staying with. "Got left behind with others. Trying to get to safe place, separated at moment." "Je, be safe! Avoid---" A beeping in her ear let her know that she had just lost the signal she had. She shoved her phone back into her pocket just in time to swing the paper cutter with both hands at the corpse that just stumbled in front of her. The blade was mighty sharp as it lopped through the top of it's skull. She didn't waste time trying to figure out what she was supposed to avoid as she made her way to the subway she used to get to and from school with ease because she didn't have a drivers license of her own.

He had tried to get her attention, but she seemed to ignore him. He walked around to the back of the Scout and placed the duffel bag inside. He then walked to the driver's side door, adjusting his vest and thigh rig before getting in. He started the car then backed out of the driveway, onto the street. With the sound of a large engine, the whine of a supercharger, and smoking tires the Scout started down the street.

May got out of the vehicle, her torso being stretched as she inched out of the car, the smell of death and decay was apparent to her, as she stepped out Theodores car and into the deadly world. "C'mon, we need to go through here and try to get one of the subway trains working...Or we can walk for about 4 miles across, it's up to you..." May murmured, pulling away suddenly to realise that she had wrapped her arms around David's arm, she blushed and then began to hurry towards the subway. She looked behind at David, and then Theodore, whom wanted May to text him if anything went wrong, he was a noble person, ladies in the safety of the vehicle whilst the males protected them, brave. She really did care for him, but she truely loved David, and she had done since she joined NorthView...

Je Lin leaned against a wall, catching her breath. Her makeshift mask had already done wonders in keeping her mouth and nose free of the bits of infected she killed. The paper cutter blade was heavier than she thought after a few swings at the corpses that got into her way. Behind her about a dozen dead still moaned after her, reminding her she had no time to rest and she continued her dash down the alleys between the buildings. Just about two or so more blocks till I hit the underground. I'm so close now. Gotta keep going.

She growled at the fire in her legs as she kept moving, trying to not let the group of corpses catch up to her. She didn't have a plan for when she got to the subway, just that it was her destination. She'd make a plan when she got there, if she made it there safely. She rammed her shoulder into the belly of a corpse, spinning and resuming her run before it could react and grab her. Je knew she was just lucky so far, but even luck runs out sometimes.

Theodore walked in the store quietly he went one way the jock the other.Theodore whispered "whistle if you need anything.."the jock laughed"you'll be the one needing my help YOU whistle if you need help!" Theodore shook his head "Whatever." he couldn't believe after all this the jock was still an ass.Theodore grabbed a cart that was near the door "You go down those two aisle on the left i go down these two." Theodore put his bat in the shopping cart.He walked down one of his aisle it was empty but there was a a pack of water bottles Theodore grabbed it "thank god we need this." he walked down the other it was completely empty "DAMN they've already cleaned this place out...."Theodore yelled.The jock came his hands full of potato chips and candy "This is all i found..." Theodore grabbed it "Here put it in the cart."they both walked to the frozen section all the way in the back it was empty too."Let's go."Theodore walked back outside everyone waiting for them to say something the jock said "Man we got food that's it no zombie if there was i would've killed it..".Theodore grabbed the cart and pulled it up to his truck he put the food in the front with the girls and his mom."If you guys are hungry get a bag of chips." Theodore's mom kissed his cheek the girls smiled "Your doing a great thing i'm glad your safe." Theodore nodded his head all the girls said "THANK YOU THEODORE" they all giggled.Theodore smiled "Yea no problem..." Theodore walked back to the guys the jock screamed "YOU WELCOME man i help too." "Yea whatever let's keep walking."

May approached the entrance to the underground very slowly, the perfume of death gracing her nose with a gentle touch, however making her gag violently. The stench was thick and horrible, a couple of flickers down below showed that there was still a slight bit of power to the underground system, but not much. She clasped her skinny hands around David's arm and began to slowly drag him with her towards the entrance. The entrance to the underground felt like an entrance to a dark cave that you'd hear about when you were little, filled with giant abyssal worms or dragons. May had a wild imagination but she was less scared now that David was there with her. "Come on...Let's go..."

Je Lin held her arms out in front of her, holding the paper cutter blade, as she walked across a brick wall. She was getting close to a subway entrance, having managed to lose the horde that had been following her. It was close to where May and David had entered, but just a little on down. A different entrance to the same station. Je readjusted her makeshift mask and hopped off the wall, landing in a crouch to ease the impact of the landing. She quickly looked around and pulled herself up, doing a quick walk over to the stairs to the subway. Lights were flickering down there, making her frown. I should have grabbed a flashlight or something... Stupid stupid! With a final glance behind her she sighed and started down the steps into the subway, her blade at the ready.
