I believe it will be out in January of next year. The theatrical distribution company wanted to distribute the film through the end of the year, so the company releasing it opted to hold off until the end of the year.

I picked this up today on blu-ray at target. I plan on watching it tonight. I hope it is as good as it looks.

They had an article about this in Fangoria in the past few months. I will have to check it out on dvd.


Well, I just ordered it on dvd from amazon so I will be getting it next week and look forward to seeing it.

Watched it last night. I really likes it , it was cool with the Romero/fulci zoms. I give it 4/5

Pretty good zombie movie. I think some of these directors are finally making more realistic zombie movies. The end got a little goofy but still i liked it alot.

OMG, I watched The Dead last night and it was fucking awesome!!!! I loved it and it had a great cast and crew in it. The 2 lead actors were sensational and the zombies and gore were good too.

Best zombie movie in years imho so please check it out or buy the dvd like I did!

The Dead is far better than most of the low-budget dung that I've seen in the last decade. However, it didn't do much for me. I thought it was just OK. I just never really connected with either of the two main characters.

For recent releases, I preferred Quarantine 2 and Rammbock over this.

I liked the characters cause they both lost loved ones in a sense in the zombie outbreak and they were both from 2 different cultures and they bonded together for survival.

It's the best zombie film I have seen since Dawn of the Dead 2004. Yes, I do love that remake.
