Thanks to member JackRancid, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with director Howard Ford over the weekend. He is a very nice guy. I told him that The Dead proves the argument that slow zombies are scarier than running zombies. He seemed to appreciate that. I then showed him our No Running Zombies shirts and he laughed.

Trust me it's is the real thing.
Several people have downloaded from it and heard nothing about the issue you have. Wich mediaplayer you use? You might need VLC mediaplayer. (free to download and never any codec problems.) Download that and try again. Let me know if this works.

Anyone else having problems with the download?

If anything, this showed that the movie is widely available, just google the movie plus "DVDRip" or something. You'll find it eventually. I still want to buy this puppy when it hits American DVD. Hell, I'm thinking about buying the German DVD because it has 2 discs..

I really hope the folks buying this film are intending to purchase it when it's released here.

The filmmakers behind this, everyone involved in the making of this film in particular, went through such a grueling experience to get it finished and it's such an amazing addition to the genre it deserves to be successful.

The director takes the pirating of his film very much so to heart, he and his brother spent their life savings to get the film made and it was literally twenty something years in the making in that the rough draft of the film was written in 1988.

This is a film that deserves any success coming to it, and that success will depend on fans like us.

I can't wait to buy the US dvd. I'm going to try to hold out on watching it again until I get an official US dvd. Hopefully it won't be too long.
