So I suppose we can discredit THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD as being a zombie film since the zombies in those films certainly have most of their personalities in tact - especially Julie from part 3?

My top three zombie flicks:

1. Dawn of the Dead (2004)
2. Return of the Living Dead
3. Night of the Living Dead (tie for the original & the 90 remake).

And I do have to agree that The Walking Dead, while not a movie, certainly should get honorable mention to my list due to the awesome acting, writing and action contained within this excellent show.

1. Dawn of the Dead (1978)- My favorite zombie movie, and one of my favorite movies in general.
2. Night of the Living Dead(1968)- Basically created the zombie sub-genre as we know it today.
3. Day of the Dead (1985)- GAR's underrated zombie epic. Not as great as his first two movies, but still one of the best.

Honorable Mention: Shaun of the Dead- One of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. Love the references to classic zombie flicks throughout.

Oh good GOD! I'd never heard of this movie until I read your post. Just watched a trailer for it. It looks fucking awesome. We get to see Brick Top from Snatch taking on zombies. It just doesn't get better than that :shoot1: :zombie1: :chase: :drinker2: :popcorn:
