Zday, if its going to be anything like the night/dawn/day trilogy is going to sweep away our societies structures and institutions. Leaving a blank slate t for the survivors to create a new world. So what would you be happy to see go. What one thing would you be glad to see the back off?

For me it would be bureaucracies, world is full of them and every year things seem to get more and more bureaucratic.

I didn't expect that from you CAV, at least the government part.

Paint this picture............Computer records are destroyed along with all forms of debt collection from banks and government. How long before there is chaos on our end?
What would they do about it?

Probably enact martial law since they also have to deal with the zombies.

Really? I don't think I made it any secret that I'm no fan of the bloated, corrupt, inept bureaucracy that our government has become. I'm even less a fan of the career politicians who will do or say anything to get themselves re-elected, selfishly gorgeing themselves on personal power and trying to enslave us by stripping of us of rights. That being said, I'm no firebrand waving a banner and calling for a violent overthrow of the government. That way leads to anarchy and chaos IMHO.

I read somewhere that the financial records of the nations' largest banks are stored on computers in California. All it would take would be "The Big One" to put that to the test.

I'll be sticking with popular opinion and go with credit card bills, mortgage, other miscellaneous financial obligations.

Rush hour traffic, other drivers in general...people who don't use their turn signals...bill collectors...jehovah's witnesses...terrorists....network news...commercials...job hunting...and all the financial stuff everyone else has mentioned.

But you'd face abandoned cars on the road, people would have less of a reason to use their turn signals, might have more people preaching about the end of days, terrorists would be renamed raiders, and job hunting would become food hunting.

We shall see, maybe Yellowstone will erupt first. It's been a while since the last big one. Unfortunately we're due.
Maybe Jerry Brown will fall in a hole.

Money... we would get rid of money, the root to all evil. Absolutely EVERYTHING (sometimes even human lives) circles around money. Think about it... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. And by everything, I really mean EVERYTHING, not as an exaggeration.

Wouldn't terrorists become governments?
