I may be overly sensitive when it come to this subject.
The program takes a lot of flack and really does a lot of good.
Bob grew up playing and exploring in the woods.
Many of the kids in my troop were city kids who had no idea what wood craft is.
They had never been fishing or camping hell had never even seen a real campfire.
Oh the snipe hunts and the campfire stories, the OA ordeal...

All that's why I think if done right this could potentially be a good and possibly even believable movie. It sounds like it's going to be cheesy though. Shame.

We camped year round rain or shine.
It really sucks putting up tents in the dark when it is raining and cold.
I never allowed the use of girl-scout water for starting fires.

hell yes..i know what you mean...uhhhh but when you sleep in something you built or hang around a fire you made it's satisfying.

Scouts are great for all of those reasons that you mentioned. Sadly, my sons will never be one.

Nope, I don't really fit into any label and I really reject all religious dogma, though, I do believe in much of what JC is said to have taught.

With a title like that, you know what you're getting into. Nothing wrong with that. It sounds interesting enough. I don't mind the fun cheesy ones.

It's more about having a belief in God.

well aren't you going to let your son pick his own religion?(sorry if i'm a little bit too much in your business you don't have to answer that.)
Did you choose your God or did your parents tell you what you believe in? My parents let us figure it out for ourselves and I'll do the same thing.

Sounds like Justification by Faith....... Works well for me, except from Gramps, he's a Southern Style Christian. Makes for great arguments, but LONG arguments.

I believe you are mistaken.
Feel free to prove me wrong though.
God is not some narrow-minded personage, as some people would seem to imagine,
but a vast Spirit of Love that overlooks the minor differences of form and creed and denomination
and which blesses every man who really tries to do his best, according to his lights, in His service.

And the number one way to know if you're on the internet.......
A Boyscouts vs Zombies movie discussion turns into religion.
Im kind of in the mindset that I want to believe there is a higher power up there who takes care of us and gives us peace after this life. My father passed when I was 19, and I like the thought of him watching over me and his grandson, but I can't just pretend that this a certainty in my mind. If I can't be sure, and aren't ready to take my blind leap of faith yet, I'll just be chilling here on this fence if anyone cares to join me.

It'd be nice to believe there was a loving entity up there who showers us with comfort, but I can't believe something just because it makes me feel good. I gotta go where the evidence leads me. As my signature says, "Once you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." Or, as Richard Dawkins has said, "'We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."
Erm, I'm talking about Boy Scouts Vs. Zombies of course.. ?

If anyone has a release date on this please remember to share the info.
I think SWAT has a good point, if they do it in a serious way a group of scouts could probably kick some ass. They would have all the skills necessary.
