Hey guys, I just thought i'd ask you zombie RP'ers if you would join an RP like this.


So, me being a massive Predator Franchise fan i thought of an RP. Heres what i thought.

Earths been ravaged by Zombies, 20 years after the death of the predalien, the Predators return to earth, hearing that a virus has destroyed their means of hunting, creating the walking dead, Landing on earth, 3 predators are sent out, an elder predator and two warriors.
Seeking to rebuild the Rotten world, the predators seek to find a cure for the virus and distribute it across the world, where 50% of the worlds population will be brought back from undeath, another 10% will gain immunity to the contagious virus and the final 25% will stay undead, the remainder were already alive or did not obtain the virus when they died. Or this could go different for the predators.

Then the second faction, the survivors.
The survivors of the Z-paw realise that there are visitors to their dead world, now having to kill the undead and attempt to slay the predators, the survivors lead a difficult life, having to look for food and survive, the predators gleefully hunt the remaining human population, seeking honour and respect, and trophies. The humans look to survive, they have interest in a cure as well. Humans that kill or save a predator from certain death are shown honour, being given a weapon and are allowed to 'tag along' with the predators, giving a better survivabillity rate. For humans that manage to kill a predator (A great feat), if they choose they can eat and drink the blood of the dead predator, giving them a longer life span, they are also stronger than normal humans, and almost able to defeat a predator in a fight, They become smarter and taller. However, doing this and you will never be able to ally with the Predators, as they will know you have predator DNA in your veins, you will be hunted to death.

The Third faction, The undead.
The undead are 90% of what remains of the human race, the dead brought back to life have a lust for blood, not much else i can say. The infected are only interested in devouring human and predator and Remainder (Ill get to it) Flesh, although eating remainder flesh will usually burn them from the inside out. you can play these from the start but otherwise they are for people whose characters die and they wish to continue playing. Some zombies are still armed with weaponry, but are pretty useless with it, be careful though.

The Final Faction, The Remainder.
What was left behind, only used as a last resort if i see that anyone is god modding, The Remainders are not controllable, they are also very fast, so i dont want to see someone write
(Name) Shoots his shotgun, the _______ fell to the floor writhing in pain.'
They only hav an interest in becoming dominant on planet Earth, they rely on a hive mind, with different stages of life, each stage is harder to kill and what not.


Rules:
No god modding
I would like to see stream of hits AND misses, i dont want people who will kill everything in one shot, apart from traitorous Survivors and The undead, both other factions are more advanced and faster than you survivors, no killiing them with one bullet, if you've seen the movies you know what it takes.
No special powers, your humans for christ sake, The undead may have mutations, such as extreme speed or extreme strength etc (Pm me if you want to know if you can have a certain mutation, if its OP then its a no, but be smart hehe :'])


Information: The 3 predators WILL be playable, but i will decide who they will be, i will be playing as the elder predator, working as the GM, we 3 GM's will also control The Remainder.
Be smart, in this RP you can die, so i am allowing player v player combat and the ability to kill eachother, please Pm me before hand if you are going to start a fight, I will decide who the outcome of the fight is, you will have 3 fight chances, and they will always be fair.
Fights must be realistic, of course the boundaries can stretch for undead, like if you broke its leg it would still hobble after you, injuries to the head can provide fatal, so i dont want any fatal wounds until you have each posted your fight posts.
Each fighter will post 3 posts in an order to combat against eachother, by the final post i will decide the winner, or if they get away, it will be rare that your character will be killed, but it is possible, so dont go jumping in to attack predators and Remainders.
Although i am going to play as a predator, that also means that we are not invincible either, if we die a new set of predators will arrive, each time with new weaponry, new names, just to add a little new touches to the story, if you liked the personality of your last character, you could play a relative or a twin that is similiar.
If impacted by one of the Remainders stages (A certain one) you will die, no exceptions, it happens with predators as well, and undead.
Predators and The Remainder always have an advantage on Survivors and undead in battles, so do try to avoid combat with them, as the predators can take on a group of survivors and kill a good amount of them, the remainders can leap out of no where (Obviously practical places) so you could be engaged at any moment.
You also have charges on your weapons, these work like bullets, say you have a rifle with 64 charges, that is how many times you can shoot the gun in one post, you will update your charges every post, failure to do so after 3 posts will result in 50% reduction of your charges.
Make sure you always have charges on you, if The Remainders engage you by surprise, your pretty much ****ed :)
Machine guns begin with 1000 charges, rifles begin with 60, grenade launchers begin with 15 charges and rocket launchers and shoulder blasters begin with 3.
You are able to make Npc characters that might interact with yours, a girlfriend, a sister, a best friend, etc (this does not count for anything other than Survivors (Insane survivors may have inanimate objects talking to them)
Please only Active people, if we get into a fight and one of us doesn't respond, i will not hesitate to kill that character off, you have been warned
If someone leaves the RP and their character is left there, you can request to have that character become your NPC companion

Your right it will be difficult, that why i've posted all of the rules and information out.
Also, I would like to add that the stage of Remainders that kill you instantly, they only have one chance in battle, the others have 3 like you, so, unless you fight one of these guys and lose, you have 3 lives, on your first 2 battles you get away wounded, and on the final battle you have you get killed if you lose, but these guys, if you fight them you have to win, otherwise you will die, but they are easy to kill, just very very very fast

Could you maybe go into more depth about The Remainder? Do they survivors and the predators know they exist? Or are they just an unbelievable legend?

Also, I think I might join. Might be a nice fun RP and a good way to kill a bit of time.

Gotcha. Well, I will write up a character sheet later and hopefully a few more people will come along. I think a new RP is what I need.

Description: A tall and strangely youthful looking man for his age. His body is wired with muscles and he contains little body fat. His body has aged far too well, looking well under the age of 50. He wears a dark brown pinstripe suit. A blue long sleeve shirt underneath with the top button unpopped. It is the only clothes that seem to fight him as he stand at 6’ 8’.
Back story: John was born and breed in Florida, and was anything but a typical southerner. He was the dux of his high school and scored high in University under a degree of medical science. His time was mainly spent with drug research and bodily functions. Displaying high knowledge in these areas, John was contacted by the American government, being told that he must get into the helicopter or else. Obliged, John was taken to a government warehouse and shown a captured creature that was weak and stripped of weapons. He was asked to conduct tests and felt he had to upon which he was accidently and privately exposed to the Predators blood. His life began to decline and left the government warehouse safely after a freak accident with the Predator. Since then, he stayed mainly off grid, using a fake medical certificate and I.D to live before the undead began to rise. Since then, he has adopted his old name and lived as a strange doctor to the people around him.
Skills: Medical knowledge, Understanding of difficult concepts, Understanding of organisms.
Mutation: Infected with Predator blood.

thanks Brendan :) Shaggy, Just posting to tell you, there is interest just not many posts on the thread, Underdude and frallon are both interested :)

New details:
Predators will Be Npcs if no one signs to be them
There will be a prologue posted at the start of the RP, explaining whats going on
Predators and Remainders are immune to the Undead plague, however, Zombies that eat Predator flesh, instead of gaining strength or intelligence, will gain their humanity back, only parts, but they will begin to become more self aware instead of being mindless beasts.
Devouring predator flesh or blood as a Survivor will extend your life and other features already explained, however you may gain some looks of a predator, such as spines from your cheekbones etc.
The RP will be realistic, jumping from heights will break bones or kill your.

lol.I like it it sounds difficult but i'm up for the challenge.Here is a questions:

can you just make zombies instead of killing a zombie who's is being played?Like just say" i saw a zombie and shot it" or a predator oh wait there is only going to be 3 predators right?

Well there will be NPC zombies, I just thought it would be an interesting emotional occurance if one of our characters met a dead character that had joined the ranks of the undead and yes there is only going to be 3 predators as that is their usual hunting formation.

We now only have 1 more predator space to take up

We officially have 2 survivors and 2 predators, if we get 3 more survivors and one more predator I think we'll be ready right?

O since my guys name is hunter i was thinking that he could carry a crossbow.Would it have to be explosive or electric to kill a predator/zombies?

erm, both would be difficult to kill a predator, it would most probably bounce of their armour, Zombies and remainders you should have no problem with either

Explosive would be more probable

1 more predator. If we can get this off of the ground it'll be great
