"Thanks, but I don't smoke", Jeff answered. He turned to look at the unconscious man on the floor. Jeff knew that most people that were knocked senseless ended up with brain damage... But hey, Owen had already done it, and Jeff didn't really care after all. He glanced at Ken, who was seemingly unwilling to leave the place. "That's fine with me", Jeff answered. "Although I'm afraid I must insist on taking the gun with me - At least until we have left. We can drop it of by the car, and you'll get to go and fetch it, say, ten minutes from then. Sounds fair?" Jeff looked at Owen, not certain if he would object to the idea.

"I don't mind."
He pulled the sleeve of his sweatshirt back onto his arm, putting his sunglasses on, "So, just us two, then?"

*skulker slid in and out of conciousness and chastised himself in his mind for being taken out so easilly* (well if this is what dying feels like then i guess i dont mind so much) he thought to himself untill a horrible burning sensation started on his upper body and then on his leg and in his mind he yelled in unberible pain. (ow **** forget what i said earlier this ****ing sucks) he thought to himself. (i just better hope i dont get eaten) he thinks to himself as his mind and body shut down to start the repairing process.

"Yeah", Jeff said, "I guess, unless Roger wants to tag along." He went over to Roger, grabbed the rifle and exited the house. "Okay, I'm gonna' head towards the car now. Remember, ten minutes."

Owen took the rifle off his back and began walking the way he originally came, "Think this whole thing will ever be over?"

Jeff looked thoughtfully at the rifle in his hands as he followed the soldier. "I don't know. Maybe these things will die after a while, or maybe they'll stay around forever. I'm not a scientist - Or well, technically I am, but not THAT kind of scientist." Jeff smiled.

"Apparently enough of a scientist to make explosives, but if that's true call me a scientist, except my job probably takes it further than yours did, but then again, my job probably takes alot of others further than they're supposed to go. All for the good of us, though."

Ken watches the men leave as he takes care of the new guy knocked out. They where gone for sometime now so he looked outside to make sure it was clear and then ran and picked up the gun. He runs back into the house and locks up. He starts boarding windows and doors, as he waits for the man to wake.

*skulker slides back into concioiousness and groans out in pain* "well at least the pain means im still alive" skulker grumbles to himself as he slowly sits up looking at his surroundings. "well i gues i got inside...somehow" he says as he checks for his equipment and sees it all stacked up against a near-by wall. "well ata least they were nice enough to leave me with my gear" he says as he drags himself over to the equipment and reloads his rifle and checks the other weapons. "well i suppose i should just wait here for a bit and rest for a moment then il see about turning this crap situation to my favor" he says as he rests his back against the wall and just waits.

Ken walks from the kitchen into the living room and notice the man moving. He runs over to the the man, "Hey buddy you ok?"

*skulker looks at the man approching him* "no im not ok i was shot, burned, and left here to be eaten. but other then that im perfectly fine" he says as he straightens up his gear and pulls out some gauze for his burns. "jeez i hope those guys get eaten" he grumbles as he finishes wrapping his burns. *skulker straighens up and looks at the man* "well my names david but everyone calls me skulker" he says as he holds out his hand.

Ken reaches out his hand and shakes the mans hand, "The name is Ken, I guess its just me and you."

"fine i much rather prefer smaller groups" skulker said as he checked the area "is the perimiter secure?" he asks the man as he searches the first floor.

[REAVER]

"Ya I just got done locking up the rest of the windows." Ken looks in distress, "So do you know what the hell is going on out there?"

[skullwarrior]

*skulker looks at the man like hes a moron* "seriously? i mean what else could be happening if people are rising from the dead and killing the living?" he looks at the man then chuckles to himself and says. "listen its either some military experiment gone horribly awry or its like in those video games... face it dude... your in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse" he laughs out loud and looks around... "i just hope were far enough from the city to avoid any extreme military measures" skulker says as he looks out of a window. "so seriously its just the two of us?" he asks as he looks around the small house to find any kind of strategy.

"Ya everyone left and went their seperate ways."

"well i perfer smaller groups..." skulker said as he started walking around "well we shopuld make up a secondary defence position if the first floor gets breached" he said as he checked the stairs "we should break these down and use a ladder tlo get up and down" he said as he looked around "hey lets go check around and see if we can find an axe or something to break these with" he said as he walked around the first floor.

"Ok." Ken goes to the basement and finds a hammer and a crowbar. He runs back up stairs. "Here you go, i noticed a wooden ladder in the basement too."

"ok good we can use that to get up and down after we take these stairs down" skulker said as he walked around the first floor taying to take stock of the meager supplies on the first floor. "ok you start gathering whatever is useful like food or water and take it upstairs... il start on the stairs" skulker said as he uses the crowbar to pry up the first step and sees that it comes up easially being as the stairs are rotten. "oh well that makes thing much easier" skulker says as he starts on the second one and the man hops over the the hole with a sack of supplies on his back.
