I'm sort of wanting to see this.
Some people say it looks good some people say it looks crap.
I'm not overly optimistic, but i like the idea of it. It seems like it could be different
Thoughts?

I get a bad feeling ever time I see a trailer for one of M. Night Shyamalan's movies.
Besides, The Happening, I have not liked any of his movies. The Village being the movie that made me never want to watch another one of his movies!!!

I'm not sure if i've seen the Happening or not. What happens? (lol, pun not intended)
The Village was pretty shoddy though.

I want to see Devil. Thankfully NIGHT only came up with the premise and is producing. I'll probably just catch it on Netflix.

I heard that Shamalaylan actually isn't that involved in this movie. All he did was come up with the concept and gave other people the chance to make it. I'm not qute sure of what this movie will be like, but it doesn't look that bad.

Never judge a book by it's cover i guess.
And i tend to often have different opinions of films to most people anyway.

I saw it and didn't think much of it. There were a few decent parts but you could figure out what was going to happen from near the start of the movie.

I read the same thing. The newspaper also mentioned that it was one story in a trilogy.
I'm curious about it. I haven't been interested in his films for quite a while. I may wait for it on dvd though.

Night has a series called Night Chronicles which will consist of a few of his stories being made under that banner. The studios are weary of him though since the quality of his films has been dropping.

That's what it is. I'm pretty sure of it. I think i misremembered it as being a trilogy. Devil is the 1st of the stories.

I'm gonna wait til it comes out on dvd and then watch it instead of shelling out $15 at the theater and then having to buy popcorn and all that **** which would had up to like $30 or more when I can watch it at home and get drunk if it does suck lol.

You definitely can't figure it out from the beginning. I happened to take a 1 in 5 guess at who the Devil was and got it right but I would not go so far as to say it's easy to figure out. They do a good job of making each of the 5 characters a possibility.
Anyway I thought this movie was awesome. The music, story, and feel were all very Hitchcock.

I find the cinema to be cheaper than DVD tbh.
£2 to get in on a Monday in one, although that cinema often doesn't show films like this. The other you can use Orange wednesdays so it's like £3.50 each if you go with someone at opposed to ~£15-£20 for a DVD that i'll probably only watch a couple of times.

I'm just curious on how they're going to stretch this out to be a full-length movie.

Even if I had netfix, I don't think I'd watch it.
Despite the fact that it may be a good movie.
Just doesn't sound entertaining.
