Q: How do I change/edit my signature? my avatar? my user photo?
A: At the top right, click the green arrow next to your name and click on "My Settings." Once there, click on the "Profile" tab. Click the appropriate link you need (ex. signature, avatar, photo, etc.) to edit it.

Q: How does the multi-quote work?
A: Click the multi-quote button on each post you'd like to quote. Then, you must click the ADD REPLY button at the bottom of the page. It will not work if you hit the REPLY button on an individual post.



I'll keep updating this as we receive questions on how to do certain things.

Simple. I think it works like on the old forum.

Trust BZN and follow these steps:

• On the upper right hand corner of the screen, you'll see your user name. Click on the pull arrow (green) to the immediate right.
• From the pull down choices, click on 'My Profile.'
• Now you profile is showing. In the same area (the upper right hand corner) you'll see a button labeled, 'Edit My Profile' It's right above you user rating. Click on it.
• Now your Options page is up. On the left hand column (list of green option links) click on 'Change Signature.'
• Now your signature editor is up. Click once on your signature (the pic) in the editor. It will highlight with little white boxes around it.
• From the editor menu, directly above it, click on the link button. It should look like this >
• A pull down list will appear. Next, Copy & Paste your URL link in the URL box labeled "http://" or type the URL in there yourself.
• Lastly, below the editor at the bottom, click on 'Save Changes' and you're done! Click on the signature above, under the "Your current Signature" heading. It should take you directly to the destination you specified.

Yes, the hyperlink button will open a window with two blanks: URL and Link Text. The Link Text can be whatever you like it to be, and will be what people will see.

Unfortunately, that's one of the few things vBulletin has over IPB at the moment. I know it's a highly requested feature over at IPB, so I'm hoping that in a future release they will have them. Until then, I'll keep my eyes open for any 3rd party apps that do the same thing.

In short, personal photo appears in your profile, status updates, and blog comments to my knowledge (there may be other areas as well). Your avatar displays next to your posts. Why the differentiation? Not sure. Perhaps some like to have 2 different photos. I made both of mine the same.

That's used only if you're a bad, bad, girl (or boy).

When Mods, and Admins give out warnings to naughty members, the meter rises higher, and higher, until a suspension or a ban is handed out.

Sluggo, you know I completely forgot about the avatars we had. Give me a couple of days and I'll get those back up for use.

The profile page isn't really made for back and forth conversing (that's what PMs are for), but I know a lot of people carry on conversations through it. I believe the correct way to do it is to just reply to a person's comment by going to THEIR page (not your own) and commenting back.

No worries. I appreciate your hard work and thank you for it. Overall the site looks good and I've had no real problems navigating around the different new features or rebuilding what was lost. I see it as a minor inconvenience.

'user photo' is for the user that what to have a photo of him or her self, but does not want it to show up on every post.

'avatar' is them tall blue people from that one movie.
