I keep a separate trauma kit for the home, car, and recreational outings, but they usually have some pretty standard stuff in it.
All Kits:
- 2", 4"ACE bandages
- 2", 4" Kerlix bandages
- 4x4's
- 2x2's
- triangle bandages
- surgical tape
- SAM splint(s)
- band-aids of various shapes and sizes
- alcohol wipes
- small bottle of PVPI
- petroleum gauze
- 60cc irrigation syringe
- Burn-Jel packets
- Cold Pack(s)
- CPR mask
- stethoscope
- EMT shears
- flashlight
- space blanket
- BSI
Home Kit:
- C-collar
- head blocks
- Oral glucose
- tongue depressors
- BP cuff
- Cardboard
- OPA's and NPA's
- duct tape
- blankets
Car Kit:
same as home, minus the headbed and cardboard for splinting.
Wilderness Kit:
- Tegaderm a few small, a few large
- moleskin or second skin blister dressings
- headlamp
ETA:
- CAT tourniquets
- Israeli trauma bandages
- NaCl for irrigation
- Large animal syringes (with the right sized NPA, these are good for suction and at a fraction of the cost of a suction device)
- Large trauma dressing
- Abdominal pads
I'll add more as I remember.
