Tobias, It was a Rat Tail tang, but mind you, that failed after the blade bent and I pretty much said "**** it, I'm taking this to the breaking point." I was chopping at a 1" wood rod that had been soaking in water for a while when it bent. Ridiculous eh?

Bandits, I have actually been looking at one of those for a while now, but am looking for a new rifle before I start pimping out what I already have.

yeah, rat tail tangs arent anywhere close to a functional battle ready blade, that would be a marketing lie to convince people to buy it. A true tang would be near or the full width of the sword. My next guess would be that it said pakistan/china somewhere on the blade. Or it was a 440/550 steel blade. Trust me when i say i'm no "mall ninja" I've worked for universal studios as a 3rd party vendor buying and selling all manner of blades, some real, some terrible. I've also worked at most of the florida renaissance and pirate faires. Geeky i know but we have to use battle ready steel from sabersmith, legacy forge, etc.. in the combat arenas. I'm mainly versed with a rapier, saber in those shows though. They arent much for hack and slash, but they are quick against heavy swords.

They make railed forends for Mossberg 500s for about $60-$100. Add on a $100 weapon light and you just cut the cost almost in half over purchasing the SureFire forend.

Not what I consider a pleasant gun to shoot but I am pretty sure it would hurt the guy on the business end more than it would me.
They tend to be somewhat picky about what they eat but if you know what to feed it they work well.
It's one of those that you carry a lot and shoot a little.
Stoked with Corbon it's pretty serious business.





I just got a Ruger LCP this week which is a more refined pistol but looks much the same.

They are popular around here and the waiting lists tend to be long.
I had been on the waiting list for so long I had forgotten about it.
I was on the list for 10 months.
I saved some money by being on this list compared to others and since I didn't "need" the LCP it didn't bother me.
If anyone is interested I will post a picture of the two side by side.

Yes I realize I need a filter in my gasmask but I didnt feel like busting one open and wasting it. Im also thinking about buying digital woodland BDUs instead of what I have now.

Yes, it's an airsoft gun, Im still working on my CCW. But it's Full Metal and Gas Blowback, so it's soon to be replaced with a .45 Taurus 24/7 OSS or .40 Taurus PT100. You can kinda see my medical bag hanging from my bed post at the bottom right I forgot to include that in my pictures, its got gauze, bactine liquid, hydrogen peroxide, bandaids, aspirin, ibuprofen, medical tape, scissors, finger splint stuff solarcaine first aid burn spray, sunblock, Cold medicine, Sleeping Pills, and Peptobismol.

In the pack I have a map of the Area/State, a canteen ( I might just get one of those camelback style hydration packs that go in backpacks) I have waterproof matches, zippo fluid (zippo in my pocket) I have a space blanket and one of those green 90 degree army flashlights with the changeable lenses, currently its got the red blackout lens.Facepaint tubes in Green, Light Green, Loam, Sand, White, and Black, I also have an extra pair of socks in my bag. One thing I really want, are water purification tablets, ill have to get some later. I have a rolled up backpack inside my backpack too, should the need arise to carry more stuff a member of my party can wear that one, I don't carry that hunting, but I use it as a range/shooting bag when not hunting, to carry ammo and take home empties and stuff when I go shooting.

Everything in my backpack I carry while I'm Hunting, so I know I can handle having it on my back

So yeah thats about it :scare:
