Yesterday I ordered 2 books on amazon:
The Amityville Horror(new on paperback) by Jay Anson - this is the original story that prompted the 1979 film and was only $9.00 and was out of print for awhile.
Jaws(hardback edition) by Peter Benchley - another out of print book but I found it new for sale on amazon for $9.00

What is the last horror book you bought or read?

I think it was called "Snow White, Blood Red", or something like that. It was an anthology I borrowed from a family member. Before that a half dozen books from Permuted press, "Day By Day Armageddon" the best of the bunch.

The bloody chamber by angela carter
Its a collection of short stories about sex, fairy tales, werewolves, vampires with a slightly feminist slant. It's very enjoyable.

Ghoul by Brian Keene
Felt a bit rushed towards the end, and I felt he planned to do quite a bit more with the story.

I just got a copy of Clive Barker's Weaveworld off of ebay. I've been wanting to re-read it for years but couldn't find it in print in any shops. I also got Cabal, both for 99p! :)

I'm just about finished reading The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson. I have like 80 pages left to read in it.
