That's why I rated it as so-so... I thought the movie was rather strange in many areas though. :loon:

Automaton Transfusion. Well I thought it looked like shit ever since the trailer came out and i wasnt let down. It had some good gore moments but other then that nothing special. Was anyone else bugged about the quality it was shot in?

Yeah... Usually people don't become that far-right politically until they get to be fully grown, and get their own radio talk show.

I just rented Mulberry Street. I'm planning on watching it later. The reviews that I've seen haven't been perfect, but I just wanted to check it out for myself.

Napoleon Dynamite
Dracula (1931) This was for a refresher so I can compare it with the Spanish version.
Genuine: A Tale of a Vampire (1920) - This can be found on the extras of the Kino release of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. A dreamlike murder by mind control. The best scene is the first but it's all quite interesting to watch.
The Mist (B&W) - Bought it! I decided to watch the B&W version first as that was how Frank Darabont envisioned it. Feckin' WOW! Awesome movie, awesome monsters (the tentacles were my favorite), and a totally horrorifying ending. I'm looking forward to watching it in color just for the gore factor if nothing else, but I have a feeling the Black and White is going to be my preferred version. I have no cgi complaints. Did I mention this movie IS AWESOME! A solid 13/10 stars!!!!!

The Fly II - Not as affective as Cronenbergs but still good fun.
The Mist (color) - Damn good but I prefer the B&W version.

American Gangster. Didnt think it was goign to be taht good. Not a huge fan of Denzel. He's a good actor for that same role that he plays though. As for the movie I didnt see too much that was great.

I watched both versions of Werner Herzog's Nosferatu (1979). The English dubbed version (The Vampyre) lost some of it's effectiveness with the dubbing. The German version (Phantom Der Nacht) was much better in my opinion. A very enjoyable film but I still prefer the original 1922 version.
