The people in ghettos can't even get by in an urban environment. The frickin food's right there in the store. The store's right there to get a damn job in... And they still can't figure out how to get by. They need their food stamps and HUD housing from the rest of our paychecks even now... how on earth would they get by in a zombie apocalypse?

Looting will only get them killed, just like anyone else. Except, they would just go for it. Not see if someone is inside, as you said life wouldnt be different for them.

I think that after u have assured ur own survival and protection then by allllllllllllll means help other people. Find more survivros and build your group UP. I wouldnt look for certain types because not all of those types will be in their right mind.
