Looks great !
Must admit I struggled to watch the Season 1 as it was very slow, not zombie slow, but very slow-paced. Gradually become a fan. Saddened when the character Merle was phased out so quickly, but see he's back in Season 3, which pleases me greatly. What the Hell is on his arm replacing his amputated hand ?
Andrew Lincoln struck me as being miscast, but that's just my opinion.
However, I see another Brit actor is playing the role of the other leader/demigod in charge of his own little utopia.

Yep David Morrissey is playing the Governor, which is mad to me to see him on a big American show I love because, my step dad met him back when he worked on an old British series called 'Our Mutual Friend'. It's funny how he's gone from that to zombie horror/drama, he's a good actor though.
I still find it crazy having Andrew Lincoln as Rick. I remember when he was on the comedy show 'Teachers' and the film 'Human Traffic'. I personally like him as Rick though, he's got a damn good southern state accent (at least I thought so anyway).
As for Merle, I believe he's replaced his stump with a big fuck of knife/mini sword.

It was inevitable they'd add some kind of weaponry to his arm, considering other films where chainsaws, hooks are used, even a M4 carbine in place of a girl's leg in a film called something like Planet Terror. Ol' Merle wouldn't let a missing hand stop him getting in the mix of a zombie fight, or for that matter, a fight with other humans.

I can't wait for season 3 to start!! It's been a long wait for good tv to return (the only other drama show I make time for is Sons of Anarchy which is also in hiatus). I personally think the TWD characters has been cast appropriately, including Andrew Lincoln. Yes, season 1 moved a little slow and so did the time on Hershel's farm in season 2, however, with a show like this building tension and suspense is paramont to the credibilty of the plot. My opinion has always been patience plays a key with this type of show, because the payoffs are enormous. It is totally unreasonable that a quality show like TWD has generally been snubbed by the Emmys (which I believe Sons of Anarchy has also been a victim of this injustice). Guess you can't please everyone!

True that! The zombie genre is still considered quite niche and I think a lot of the masses fail to see the initial appeal (until of course they take the time to actually watch it). That's probably the reason for the injustice.
