Yesterday I had my internet switched over from ATT to Charter Communications(the cable company).

It's so much better being on Charter than on with ATT. It's faster to me and I had a wireless chip put into my hardrdrive and the cable modem is run through my den through my HD tv now. My laptops service seems better too.

What type of net service do you use?

I get the net through my cable service Cox Cable.

My provider is called Aussie Broadband. I was lucky to find them. They offer really good deals. So much so that I got a telemarketing call from Telstra, one of the big internet and phone providers in Australia, and they tried to lure me back to them. As soon as I told them about my deal with Aussie Broadband they paused, then said "Oh. No worries. Thanks for your time." They weren't willing to match the deal. :lol:

I got the cable company for my internet. Used to have the bundle package cable, phone, internet but their phone service sucked and honestly I'm not to happy with their cable service anymore either if I could get satellite at the house I'd honestly kick them to the curb. Their internet is great though. 30mbs down and it at least is fairly consistent. Can't complain about that at least. I've got the bar running on At&t though. Better business package and customer service albeit a slower overall connection but when it breaks I can get someone out there sameday.

I got the Charter silver package deal with the HD tv service and all but I didn't want the phone service either.

I cancelled my service with ATT and don't have a house phone no more thank goodness. I never liked it anyway and getting phone messages on my answering machine. If you want me then call my cell phone lol.

We use Comcast which is our cable provider. Last year we tried to save money and switched to directtv and Verizon dsl, and it sucked! So slow compared to Comcast.

I think with our cable package we have 30 mg which is fast. What type did you have with that company?
