Mother's Day - remake 2011 Rate Topic: -----

I watched this remake of Mother's Day last night and I really did enjoy it. It had a great chemistry in it and good acting and the torture scenes in it were pretty brutal and gory in parts.

Rebecca De Mornay did a great job as the evil mother in it. Her 3 adult sons in it were cast were good and the people they take hostage in the movie were very good actors too. This film is very different from the cheesy 1980 film which dealt with being in the woods when this film dealt with it being in a house in the city.

Be sure to definitely watch this film. I give it a 8/10 rating on my 1st viewing!

I didn't care for it. I felt like I was watching a remake of the remake of Last House on the Left. Why was this called Mother's Day????????? It's not even a horror movie.

It was more of a thriller.

What did you think about the brutal torture scenes though Brian? I liked them and the scene where the girl was shot in the face and the guy having his knuckles broken, etc.....

To be honest I don not remember much of the movie. I simply tuned out.

Well I enjoyed it and it's a helluva lot better than the Troma shitty original lol.
