A friend of mine, an indie game developer, has recently launched a kickstarter campaign to promote his new Zombie Shooter MMO, Outlasting the Dead. As a strong supporter since its development started, I promised to do my best to spread the word to friends, family, and other zombie shooter fans like me. I'm also a big horror genre fan, so I've took the time to share this in a few forums around the net. Here is a few links you can visit if you are interested.

I hope lovers of the genre really grab on to this like I have. Their team works hard, and now they just need the finances to make the game a reality. I hope everyone can pitch in something to help with this product. Being as close to it as I am, I know it is destined to be a great product. I'm also a big fan of Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil. I thought it'd be great to talk to some fans of the horror genre about what they thought a badass shooter game is. I plan to share what I find out here, with them in their forum. I'd really like to see some groundbreaking stuff in the game. I know they are including some cool features like boarding up walls and doors and moving objects into path ways to make zombies push them and climb over them. One of the things I just found out they were doing just recently is offering a selection of avatars for players to choose from. I told my friend that I felt players should have the option to create their own unique avatar as compared to picking from a group of avatars that may not reflect the type of character they look to portray. Any opinions on this would be great! I personally feel like that aspect could break this game quickly. Thanks for taking the time to read, I look forward to conversation here.
