Oddly I just talked to an ex girlfriend I missed a lot and still had a little lingering feelings for (two years since she dumped me). When we were talking I realized I actually enjoyed her company anyway, even without the romance. So at least until she gets a bf again (because then it'd get really weird), I kind of enjoy still having her around in some capacity.

But all situations are different i presume.
