It seems like lately I can't get zombies off my mind at all. I've been soaking up books, movies, blogs, Twitter feeds, and anything else I can find that has to do with zombies.
The last three nights I've dreamed about zombies, spawning different thoughts and questions and ideas about them.
I think it is because they are the ultimate human fear- death, unknown, lack of free will and thought, and pain (both causing to others and receiving yourself). People love to be scared, so much so that we dedicate a big chunk of our time and money to trying to get that adrenaline rush of horror.
What's strange is that most of our society has already become zombies, in a sense- locked onto computer screens until our eyes turn bleak and red, shuffling through our mindless day jobs, and avoiding all human contact in real life.
Or maybe I'm just being pessimistic after a horde of nightmares.

I understand where your coming from, I too have intense zombie dreams every other night. They start off like a normal day then suddenly a zombie attack occurs, the rest of the dream turns into a life like Left 4 Dead experience on a bigger scale. Im not sure why they occur but there pretty consistent. Either way enjoy them and try and kill as many zombies as you can!
