Tobe Hooper is the director of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.I too am really interested in this movie, mainly because there is no plot,no cast,no production photos, but a nice poster lol.

Oh and I think the band who had a song named after him was Necrophagia but I could be wrong.

From the looks on IMDB for Tobe Hooper , the movie name may have changed to "Mortuary".

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0415167/

(from imdb) Plot Summary:
"When the Fowler family moves to the small town of Arkham, Massachusetts, they plan on starting a new life. Perhaps a strange choice seeing as that new life takes on the form of running the long abandoned Fowler Brothers Funeral Home. The locals fear the place, and there are whispers around town that the land the home lies on is haunted. The Fowler family will soon discover that something lurks beneath Arkham-something that raises rotten corpses from their long forgotten graves and feeds on death itself."

in his early days he had some pretty cool flics, seems though he turned to 'tv' movies ... hopefully he goes back to his roots with this one.

Tobe Hooper's Zombies and Mortuary are different movies.

Here's the official site for Mortuary which is about due to be released: http://ver2.mortuarythemovie.com/

and here's Dread Central's article about Mortuary: http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/m...ticle&sid=1627

Now here's the article from Dread Central about Zombies which is only in pre-production: http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/m...ticle&sid=1374

Wasn't Mortuary done in the '80s? Maybe I'm getting it confused with "Mausoleum" but I do seem to remember something titled Mortuary. Oh well, EVERYTHING is getting remade nowadays and lots of times its for the better so even if it is a remake then more power to it!! Just so long as theres something besides J-Lo's latest piece of crap to go see at the theater!!
