Default Let Me In

The American remake of the spectacular Låt den rätte komma in, who's plot is thus:

Oskar, a bullied 12-year old, dreams of revenge. He falls in love with Eli, a peculiar girl. She can't stand the sun or food and to come into a room she needs to be invited. Eli gives Oskar the strength to hit back but when he realizes that Eli needs to drink other people's blood to live he's faced with a choice. How much can love forgive? Let The Right One In is a story both violent and highly romantic, set in the Stockholm suburb of Blackeberg in 1982

has released some early concept posters:

I saw Let The Right One In (subtitles) on Instant Netflix recently. I really enjoyed this movie! The setting is dark and depressing which adds to the eeriness of the movie.

If they can tap into that vibe for the sequel, I will be very impressed.

I am a very big fan of the original and think that it should be left as great as it is without being ruined by American filmmakers. Same deal with The Orphanage. Though we can't stop it, we might as well support it......the posters aren't too bad for this movie. When we can get a trailer up we'll know for sure....

Thougth the original was bland and boring. Probably rent the remake. Thought reeves next was supposed to be cloverfield 2.. hmmm.

Setting has been changed to New Mexico (WTF?) making the posters I posted no longer relevant.

This is the new teaser:

I'm sketchy on the new location as it is moving away from the original's snowy, wintery look.

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. Worth a watch, but not the typical style I enjoy.
