zombie or not a zombie in DOTD 04?

Recall the scene where Ana (Sarah Polley) is in her car witnessing all the horror, and out of nowhere comes a man that appears to open the door and tries to get into the car, or get Ana. And of course, subsequently Ana careems into a tree and meets Kenneth (Ving Rhames) after a waking up in her car. Now my guess is that man was not a zombie. I think he spoke but it was mumbled a bit. But the thing that puzzles me is, if he was in fact not a zombie, why didn`t he go to Ana to see if she was okay or something? However, this situation of the man not going to Ana would puzzle me even more if he was a zombie because a zombie would have been on hot pursuit. So my guess is not a zombie. What do you guys think?

Hey actually did speak to her. He wasn't a zombie.

My theory on why he didn't chase after her was that the commotion with her car alerted the zombies in the bus that there was fresh prey to be had. They got to the bus driver before he was able to get down the hill to Ana.

I want to know about the naked girl walking around, was she a zombie? I couldnt say for sure if the bus driver was a zombie, but it added to the chaos, and confusion of the beginning.

It is safe to say that the man was not a zombie, rather, a very scared person who was trying the get the flip out of there. He didn't check to see if Anna was alright because he didn't care about her at all. He was ready to yank her out of the car and into the streets so that he could take the car and flee to safety. He more than likely saw the car go over the side and it doesn't take a scientist who develops rockets to figure out that a crash like that would render the car useless. Besides, he was probably ripped apart by zombies shortly after the attempted car-jacking anyway.

He definately wasn't a zombie because he said "Give me your car!" or something like that. He was just trying to steal the car from Anna.

Well, I popped in the DVD and watched the scene again... The bus driver is definitely not a Zombie, just a guy trying to steal Ana's car away from her... If you have any further doubts, just turn on the subtitle track, and you'll see that he says: "Give me your Car!" ;-)


btw... The naked woman is not a Zombie yet in my opinion... She is just in shock, and walking aimlessly amongst all the confusion... How in the heck she lost her clothes is anybody's guess. :loon:

I think she was in the shower when a zombie tried to attack her. She managed to get away from the zombie, get in her car butt naked, and crash it in the bus (or at least I think it was crashed in the bus)

Showered with the door locked? I don't lock the door when I shower.
And come on, if it's her husband, why would she need to lock it anyway?
It's unsafe to shower with the door locked, in case you slip on the soap and break something... well, if you're holidaying in Bates' motel, I suggest you lock the door when you shower.
