Hey Everybody,

I figured I'd post this in here and see if I have any luck. Basically, I'm seeking somebody in the Chicago area (or suburbs) interesting in going halves on some equipment and some short film productions.

I'm looking to purchase a Super 8 camera, film stock and props in order to start work on my short film. I figured I'd look for somebody interested in partnering up to offset the costs. The equipment would be used to work on my short film as well as a low budget project of their own.

I'll be purchasing a decayed corpse and other gore essentials but I'd like to see if anybody would like to go in halves on the cam and film stock. I'd be happy to share any profit made though it'd be unrealistic of me to assume there'll be any at all. If you're interested, hit me up.

I'll be moving ahead with this myself but will move a lot faster working with somebody willing to front half and match my contribution. The story is fairly simple and the vocals will be recorded seperately in a recording studio. NO DV, I'd rather film on 8 mil than a camcorder or DV. Serious contacts only please.

Hit me up at: Owner@joehorror.com

I have 2 Super 8's and 1 unopened, newly purchased 50 foot spool of Kodak super 8 film if you're interested in purchasing, I'd be willing to part with one of the cameras for relatively cheap or potentially trade.

Hey FD!

Please email me with a possible purchase price or an idea for a trade. It would appear doing the whole "halfsies" thing isn't as popular as it used to be lol

Is the film stock B&W?

um...eeeeeeeeeewww.

As for this project, it's been shelved while I write a book. My book comes first. Once it's finished I'll definitely be picking this project back up again.

are you set on using super 8? I was wondering because we've been using digital camcorders and they do make life easier when dealing with lower budgeted productions.

Right now, we're not doing anything. I decided awhile back to focus on my in-progress book before attempting to bite off more than I can chew. I may look back in to this when my book is finished though.
