Ozone: Attack of the Redneck Mutants

Has anyone out there seen this movie? Let alone, heard of it? I grabbed a copy off xploitedcinema.com and I have to say it wasn't bad...but it wasn't good either. Definetely a cheesy movie with obvious dubbing, looped laughter, caked on make-up and lots of gore. I think this was the first zombie movie I had seen where they used a real pair of lungs to be eaten...it was definetely interesting. I think it would be a worthy follow-up to "Redneck Zombies" or even "Toxic Zombies". I don't know why but I was thinking of that movie most of the time I was watching this one...

Any thoughts?

No....that's Ozone...the J.R. Bookwalter film. This one was made in the mid 80's and it had no name actors and like no budget. Here's the storyline;

Horror, splatter, trash and zombies!! Extremely gory tale demonstrating the dangers of over-exposure to ozone. Ozone is turning people into crazed flesh eating mutants who wander the countryside eating everybody they meet. Grade Z lunacy that would make H.G. Lewis proud. Directed by Matt Devlen.

I picked up a bootleg copy of this about a couple of years ago, and then I later found an original video copy (Muther video) from eBay... For an ultra-low budget Zombie splatter flick I enjoyed it... The movie wasn't really bad...just incredibly cheesy. I'll see if I can get some screenshots from my DVD copy of it later on. There's some nice gore in this lil Z movie that's definetely worth sharing with the rest of the ATZ world.

The one with the dog's head (possibly a fox?) sticking out of the hole, and biting that guy's leg was hilarious! It was a dummy prop they moved side to side to make it look real. :lol:

Oh my God I remember that part, I never laughed so hard in my life. I really couldn't make out the pic until I really looked at it, then I was like "Awww, OH YEAH!" then I started laughing...now my whole body hurts. Oh btw, not feeling so hot today so any kind of movement makes me hurt but laughing seems to be the worse. :puke: But anyways...back on topic.

Are you sure, cause the DVD I have looks like it was transfered from a film. It had the usual film scratches and blotches, I think it was shot in 16mm.
