Sounds like a good plot. I wish the producers luck on this project. I can't wait to see a teaser trailer or some pics.

Uh...ok. All they need to make this movie a hit is to hire Casper Van Dien, Coolio (or Busta Rhymes) and Kathy Ireland. I'd say those three box office power-houses would only run them about $500 dollars and a case of Pabst.
Seriously, though... What the Hell?

This doesn't sound original or interesting at all. Good luck though.

You know while it sounds like another movie I saw once, with a little different setting..a..a 'Night of the Living Dead' thats it.But you know what thats o.k. How many great westerns were the same plot and still were great great films. So best of luck and you know what the title is excellent simple but perfect.

It's not that much like Night of the LD. (It is the basis/inspiration because IMHO, Romero is God-hence, our lead zombie hunter's last name is Romero) If you guys have any questions about it, feel free to ask.

Romero is God...If you guys have any questions...feel free to ask.
Yes, I have a few.
Why does Romero let bad things happen to good people? Can Romero lift a rock so heavy even he can't lift it? If Romero is so good, why did he make Land?

How corny to call the hero Romero. Why not "Tromero".
That way, you get to say thanks to two lots of influences.
I wish you luck. Can you include a Beakmans Diner scene?
And whats with the old duck?
P.S. if thats your mother, sorry mate.

Even "god" makes mistakes. As I said, in my opinion, he is god. But ya know, he is human and like ALL humans, he makes mistakes.
I said Romero because he has influenced me more than anyone else. In my list of top directors, it's Romero and Hitchcock.
Old duck? Who?

So...you're saying he's a...MAN GOD? :scare: Sorta like Jesus only with a bigger reputation for having more to say?

"Who's Jesus?"
Seriously, man god... that's a good term.

Wasn't Hercules some sort of man god? You know, the guy that looks like Fabio? lol. Lame attempt at humour, I know.
Actually that was just a sort of bump-in-disguise.

NO WAY. Let's see...new member, no introduction in the introduction forum, bumping a seemingly random thread...THERE CAN'T BE A CONNECTION! THERE JUST CAN'T BE!!
Welcome to ATZ. What role to you serve in this production?

lol good catch Blind Dead! Yeah, those weren't very good manners. You see i'm a regular at another forum, and I forget that even if people know me there, it doesn't mean the rest of the internet does too. lol.
I play one of the characters, that's all.

i look forward to seeing this film get made. goesaround made a good point about westerns (and it's true in other genres...um...horror maybe?) rehashing..or reworking an old plot. how many times have Cinderella, The Seven Samurai, and Romeo And Juliet been retold?
Best of luck with it.

Thanks a lot for all the nice comments and encouragement.
It's true though. Most genres do share the same basic formula of a protagonist/s overcoming some sort of obstacle or opposition in order to obtain a certain goal. Look at the underdogs in "Dogdgeball." Frodo and the Ring. Luke Skywalker. Indiane Jones and the Nazis. Shaun of the Dead. Mal Reynolds and Serenity. The X-Men against everyone else. Spider-man against the Green Goblin. Robert Langdon against Opus Dei. David and Goliath. Dennis Quaid and Global Warming.
I think this formula in the arts is simply a reflection of the basic human need to survive and thrive and obtain happiness (or life, or closure of some sort, etc).
But all in all, each story has its own flair and imagery (and homages) to distinguish itself from others, while still keeping with the same basic formula.
I'm gonna stop saying "basic" now.

hi all,
I play Kenny in the upcoming movie, Zombie Outbreak. Send some questions my way.
My first question would be..."Does the introduction forum no longer say...INTRODUCTIONS?" and my second question would be "What's your sign?"

We try not to use words like newb, newbie or noob. Everybody has to start somewhere.
As to whether you're the most bunch of actors to show up around here...nope. We've had other actors, filmmakers and producers show up only to shill. Not many have made an effort to get to know the people around here. Hopefully, you're not like that. :)

hehe well, good thing I used the N word to refer to me and mine, and not someone else.
Anyway, I can't speak for everyone else, but I've been making an effort to hold conversation. ^_~
Well, since BD won't let me be the first to say to all you actor people:
N00B!!!!!!!!
So tell me, is this going to be a....um....good movie?
