I do not have too many of these but I had one last night. I do not remember much of it but it involved aliens and zombies. I suppose this is the forum to post it. I remember the dream starting like a Simpson's cartoon. A cartoon zombie attacked Bart or whatever and I remember birds attacking humans. I really can not remember much about the aliens but after the zombie outbreak they took over our bodies. The zombie part started right after the odd bird attacks. I remember me and a group of people running for our lives and we found an underground shelter to hide out in. I just love zombie dreams. I just wish I could remember more of this one.:x

Hmmm if i put on my psycholgist head for a second and from what youve remembered, this dream actually says quite a bit.
Cartoon style dreams usually mean you feel what is going on in the dream is quite laughable even if the subject matter is not
where as Zombies around you shows you see people as sluggish trapped in their ways and lacking an exciting life
birds represent thought and flying birds represent free thought new ideas ect.
So i'd hazard a guess that you currently feel no one around you is having many original ideas and there fore have become mundane and a bit dull, you find the whole situation a bit laughable and pathetic, but you have a real fear the same thing is happening to you and your desperatly trying to hide from it.
well that about sums up the analysis, hope it helped without spoiling the dream
(oh yeah aliens represent change, so you may be just about to have a really original idea and save everyone  )

As long as you don't get eaten or bit.... then you'll have a totally different kind of dream

i often have dreams about like if dawn of the dead happened. i daydream about it too. i think that would be awesome. i'd gather weapons and food and then go to my school. its got like a huge perimeter of big iron gates and all the windows are those ones with the steel wires going through them. be an easy place to defend.

I think dreams like that should be left to the movies and fiction in general. I have a family and although I like to fantacize about zombies I would never hope for it to happen for real. That's just sick. You're sick!

Sometimes it takes a while for people to reply. For immediate response try an IM or something. Just a friendly suggestion.

Who isn't? But I think if it really happened, I wouldn't be so heroic or survive the first day... I also have a school building that's very suited for an outbreak, but weapons would be a problem (legal issues around here), so that means that I must juse knives, poles and other tools (not that it will work). Just being realistic people... :-(

I have very graphic zombie dreams, often. Once I dreamt that my town was taken over, and I remember falling through and smashing a shop window, and all of these zombies were closing in. I had a blanket in my hand and I was trying to scare them off with it, hopelessly. I also had a pistol, which I was firing at them. I got cornered into a an alley and there was an emergency exit door behind me. I pushed at it but it didn't open. I closed my eyes and stuck the gun in my mouth and clicked it, but I had no more bullets. Again, I tried the emergency exit door and it opened, so I ran in and slammed the door. When I turned around, there was a room full of people sitting at their computers. I asked if they knew what was going on outside and they just blinked at me. Then they all looked up at a huge screen and saw what was happening. And then I woke up. That was the first dream where I was actually a victim. Most of the time I just seem to be observing, but in no real danger.

Two zombie dreams last year.
In my old school trying to escape with a car, trapped by at least 60 zombies, nowhere to go, the other dream walking on a local road, zombies closing in from all sides; about 10 of them, all rancid and decayed.
Zombie dreams are pretty cool, when you don't get bit.
Best way I remember a dream is set the clock an hour before you have to get up, then write down your dream as soon as you wake up with the alarm clock.

i had a dream about running zombies. Dont know why but i was in my office, trying to survive, then i went to get my grandfather and i saw the main avenue here full of running zombies. It was great, i got that apocalyps feeling that you get when you see a zombie movie

My zombie dreams are really quite terrifying.
The last one I had involved me running from a zombie I saw on my way home from school. It was at night and it was raining heavily. I got home and told my parents that I saw a zombie.
They didn't believe me and kicked me out of the house (or I left, I can't remember). I was just standing outside of my front door, looking into the distance to see where the zombie was when some zombie came out of nowhere and tried to lunge at me. It was really terrifying. The zombie that attacked me was all old and wrinkly...and female! She had all stringy hair and white eyes and her skin was peeling off.
Anyways I started banging on one of the windows and was sreaming for my parents to let me in but they just ignored me.
It gets kinda blurry from then on. I remember getting chased by gradually more and more zombies and I wasd running through some city that had been completely ruined. There was smashed glass everywhere, abandoned cars, half destroyed buildings ect. but no people other than those who had been zombified. Oh yeah, they could run as well!
It was pretty scary because it felt so real and I felt so helpless. It kinda made me realise just how scary something like a zombie epidemic could be in real life.:scare:

Well, I wish this was a dream, this morning, it was still dark everything, and I was walking to my job, and all of a sudden I heard this loud yawn coming out of the cemetery, right across the street from me. It was a real loud yawn too, like someone just awakened from a long sleep. It scared the living dickens out of me. I thought I was going to do no#2 in my pants, I was so scared. Here I am looking for whoever made the sound, and I couldn't see the person. Nowhere! Boy! Whoever made that is up for a beating or something...:scare: :poo:

That's pretty wierd. Whoever done it must have very big lungs to unleash a yawn loud enough to be heard across the street. Could this be the first zombie? If so, you're screwed mate!

Perhaps it was the caretaker. They work pretty shit hours. And unfortunately for them, no one really seems to notice them.
Or... *cue dramatic music* zombies can yawn! Which leads to the question - what other bodily functions are they still capable of?

Had a weird dream last night, and although it wasn't about zombies (I think), it was set in the PAW.
It starts off like waking up from a bad dream, and having no memory of what happened prior to that. Confused and lost, I stumbled around this old abandoned military base deep undeground, where I learned that a large group of people were trying to survive through a snow storm like the one shown in the day after tommorow. The only heat source in the base came from a huge bon-fire on the bottom-most level which was fed by anything that could be burned (so naturally there wasn't much furniture in the place). I eventually met up with the leader of the group, whose name I never learn or hear spoken. I was then assigned to a "scavenger" party, who was responsible for finding more fuel for the fire.
After depleting all available fuel sources inside the base, the scavenger parties had to venture out into the snow covered wastelands and find anything that could be burned. We had to wear these custom made parkas which were designed to withstand the intense cold outside of the base (the parkas where found inside of a secret storage area within the base...almost like the government knew what was coming).
After we left the base, my mind blanked out, and it picked up later with me stumbling back inside the base and collasping into the arms of the watchmen (a guy left at the entrance to watch for our return). My body was all cut up and bloodied, and I could barely mumble the words "They're coming..." before I went into shock from my injuries.
Then I woke up.
I hope to god I have another dream like this, because it was so cool.

One of my zombie dreams had a zombie couple living in a suburban home with their baby. I moved in with them, they kind of adopted me, I guess. The female zombie came up to me and told me I better get out, quick, because the male zombie was getting restless and wanted to eat me. So I started running up the road, and next thing I know, the male zombie was driving after me in a silver sedan. Freaky.

Now this is all a bit blurry but it was one crazy dream! Well I first remember being outside this elementary school I live near and use to go to. My friend lives right next to it as well. Anyway I was across the street and it was crazy. There was men in gas masks and guns making people back off. I went over and snuck across with a friend of mine who seemed to appear out of no where. We jumped this fence that has it's gate locked and blocked off. (We jump it all the time in real life) We scurried around and hid when a couple of guards passed by. We ran over behind to find the door open in the back of the school which leads directly to the cafeteria.
We ran up these short set of stairs and viewed it: The cafeteria had goofy looking machines spitting out strange stuff (I later realized when I woke was the zombie virus) We ran because we 'some how' knew that it was a air born virus that turned people in to zombies. Well anyway my friend got gunned down while 2 guards ran after us as we left the court yard. I ran and looked left peering at my friends house that lives next to the school... It had machines spitting out the crap that was hooked into his house and out threw the front. I kept running and saw his front door open, there was blood and gore on his porch. I ran home and no one was there. I got in a car (I have no idea how it got there or how I could magically start driving) and drove until I got to a Home Depot.
I last remember looking for a gas mask but finding nothing so I could protect my self from the virus. I then finally last remember seeing a guy shaking violently like he was having a seizure. Then blood came out of his mouth and he shaked with his eyes and ears having blood spew out as well. Then I remember him abruptly stopping and being pretty much... Dead. He got up as I stood in terror and didn't move. He got up off of a bench he was sitting on and lunged forward. That is what I remeber last.
Weird:loon: Any input or theories on this? I know it's just a dream but what the hell... You guys ever had a zombie related dream as well?

I've had a couple of memorable zombie dreams;
1.) I was a zombie. The Dotd '04 kind. I was running with other zombies in an unfamilair city attacking and devouring the living.
2.) There were zombies somewhere and somehow I got caught in the middle of it. So I fought with the zombies, using a shovel.
3.) I played in a zombie movie(!) as a zombie (blue/grey).

I dreamt a few nights ago that I was in a store with other survivors and that the zombies were chewing and pounding on the glass windows and doors. Everyone paniced when their numbers grew and they ran towards every exit they could, but their attempts were futile. I just stood there. In disbelief and probably fear. When the doors and windows broke under the pressure of the dead bodies, everybody ran to the back or to the crowd of (green) zombies. I just hid somewhere between the shelves and watched as the reanimated corpses slowly took posession of the store. The zombies were cool though. Some had jaws ripped out, wounds, nothing or were almost skeletons. That was the best zombie dream ever! :)

I had a crazy dream right after Christmas too. It must've been something I was eating or something but here it goes. I dreamt I had three dogs. I had a pitbull, a german shephard and this cute little beige chuhuahua, like Paris's little dog Tinkerbell. Well, I didn't know the serious of the night. All I remember was it was dark, and I can see in the background you know like people in your backyard but I didn't realize what I was seeing because I thought everything was normal. I was busy doing something when I placed the little chuhuahua dog outside, its little leash was still contacted to the door, still I wasn't aware what was going on so...(I forgot what my other two dogs were doing they were somewhere around. Funny they weren't barking or anything) Suddenly I either heard or saw on television that there was zombies alive walking in the area where I was living. Suddenly there were noise, I could hear people outside on my property--I didn't realize that they were zombies. So I rushed to get my little chuhuahua from outside with its leash still tied to back door of my kitchen and there my little dog comes leaping on its little legs and its little armed chewed off; blood, veins and bone was hanging from it and the dog was crying. I never seen a dog cry like my little dog did. Tears was coming down its little face. I felt so bad neglecting something so precious as that little thing that I even started crying. I cried so much I think even Jesus would have sent a bolt of lightning to come down on me.
I never want to have a dream like that again. Never, never.

I've only had one zombie dream, that I remember.
It started with me in my local Wal-Mart defending myself with my Samurai sword. While fighting the zombie horde, I backed into Criss Angel, yes, Mindfreak illusionist Criss Angel, who was likewise fighting them off with a battle axe. It was just like in the movies, when two people on the same side back into each other, turn around to attack who/whatever they just backed into, then realize they're on the same side.
I told him about some friends that lived in an apartment complex nearby. Now, in real life, it's not, but in my dream this complex was a secure, gated community. Somehow we made our way to the apartments only to find hundreds of the undead clawing at the fence. We managed to get through the crowd and make it into the complex.
Once inside, we find everyone that lived there (except my friends for some reason) huddled together in the center-most apartments. As we're talking and getting to know everyone, we meet this woman and her three little girls, all of whom are crying, wanting to know where Daddy is. I try to calm them and tell them that if he's keeping a level head and knows what going on and how to deal with them, he's probably OK, thinking about them and trying to get home.
About this time, I look over at the wall and see a bunch of family portraits and realize that "Daddy", is one of the zombies I dispatched to get inside the apartment complex. The dream ended with me pulling a family friend aside and asking for help breaking the news to them.
I woke up really depressed and it actually took me a couple of days to get over it.

Any time Zed show up in my dreams, which is rare, I have a sword. I guess its a katana.
Zeds have red glowing eyes, like the rear of a car at night.
The sword passes through them as though they were well cooked ham.
Inevitably, I collect frightened people. I feel like Blade only killing Zombies.
Tonight I had a dream where I held up at my apartment in a early stage outbreak. I used by computer desk to reinforce my front door, and I watched the zombies through the peephole as they banged on my door, and later they left to check out other apartments. I decided to go to a local store for some food, and on the way I kicked a zombie's head off on the stairway. I actually had a sawed-off shotgun (I never held a gun in real life) it felt so powerful to hold it and blow some zombie brains out. Until my father got bit and used the last shell to blow his own brains. Then I had to use a hammer.

I havent had any zombie dreams lately. The last one I had was a few months ago. I was at a mall but avery store was selling glass scuplters, chandliers basically everything was fragile. I was in there & all of a sudden zombies came out of nowhere, glass was breaking & peaople were tramplin eachother somehow I got ou with zombies chasing me & I got on top of a van & the were clawing at me trying to get me so I climbed on some pipe that was hanging & somehow I ended up in a forest hiding & then I woke up. That was really weird.
