Q: "What do you think when you see a pretty girl walking down the street?"
A:"One side of me says, 'I'd like to talk to her, date her.' The other side of me says, 'I wonder how her head would look on a stick?'"

Fiction:
Se7en
".. to get anyone's attention these days, you have to use a sledgehammer..."
Said by the serial killer to explain why he was so perverse in his murders as Brad Pitt's character learns his pregnant wife was killed by him.
The author (Andrew Kevin Walker) of that film admitted right there why he wrote the story. People just eat popcorn while they watch these horrible acts. Nobody I know that saw the movie was so terribly shocked by the scenes depitced in the film or that statement, at all. It's like people are asleep or something, and Walker nailed it. Don't get too excited and think I'm a softy or something. :) Seriously.
Non-fiction:
Dahmer
I'd have to say it would be the peculiar things Jeffery Dahmer said on some message boards about cannibalizing homosexuals before he was arrested. Do a search, it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Keep in mind I'm not celebrating the things I've cited here. I mention them because of the strong effect they had on me.

I believe that was something Ed Gein said and I assume was adopted by the film.

Nope, Hyena is correct, that quote was from Edmund Kemper originally (they simply put it into the film)...
My favorite one, just cause it makes me kinda chuckle, was Ted Bundy's seemingly casual, matter of fact appraisal of the horrors he was involved with -
"You learn what you need to kill and take care of the details...Its like changing a tire...The 1st time you're careful...By the 30th time, you cant remember where you left the lug wrench"...
Another that makes me chuckle is Andrei Chikatilo's last words before he was executed by a single shot behind the ear - "Don't blow my brains out! The Japanese want to buy them!"...

"I was pretty upset for a long time. I was really mad at a lot of people. I'm still willing to get out and kill a whole bunch of people. That's one reason I'm not too fast on getting out. Because if I got out, I'd feel obliged to get even"

I'm not sure who said it, but "Oh shit, you caught me" has to be right up there:lol:

In the last issue of Fangoria, there is a huge article on the making of the film. From what I read;I don't know?I may be a little slow. It was a lot more than a pitch meeting and some scribble on a napkin to bring Silent Hill to the Big Screen.

Gacy creeps me out so much.
Anyway - serial killers *wide grin* one of my favourite subjects, now where do I begin? I have a few favourites.
"He started messing with the christmas tree, telling me how nice the christmas tree was. So I shot him." - David Bullock
"Look down on me, you will see a fool. Look up at me, you will see your Lord. Look straight at me, you will see yourself." - Charles Manson
"The demons wanted my penis." - David Berkowitz

Gacy died to slow, to me justice is turning these scumbags over to the victims families, let them carry out the execution, doesnt bring back a family member, but I bet they will have a little bit better piece of mind. imagine having to live your life knowing what one of these scumbags did to one of your family members. Do like they do in Mexico, find a lifer in the same prision as the killer. a lot of lifers have wife/kids on the outside struggling to live. some lifers will kill someone for a few luxeries in prison, imaging what they would do if thier wife/kids, or mother recieved a few thousand dollars, paybacks a bitch. THe more pain the serial killer suffers, gang rapes, tourture, being a lifers bitch, the more money the lifers families recieve, its only money. Justice is served! So the best serial killer qoute," leave me alone, please Bubba leave me alone."

I think it was charles manson who said, While doing an interview, he had been asked about a crossbow he had made. "I just wanted to see if it would work". So he pulled up in his car, collered some guy over and shot him in the head with it.

Here's the deal with Manson. He has got to be the biggest dumbass ever, not only is he not a serial killer (no disrespect to those that posted qoutes!) but he failed at absolutley everything he ever tried to do. As if his own mistakes weren't enough, he went on to blame everyone and everything for him becoming what he is.
What kind of dumbass gets a parole hearing and says something to the effect of...."If I wanted to start killin' people, there wouldn't be none of you left" !?!?
Don't get me wrong, but I can't do anything but laugh at Charlie, the guy is the king of morons. To make things worse, he truly believes what he spouts off about.
Rant over.

"She was giving me oral sex, and she got carried away . . . So I choked her."
ARTHUR SHAWCROSS
And the brutal...
"I love to kill people. I love watching them die. I would shoot them in the head and they would wiggle and squirm all over the place, and then just stop. Or I would cut them with a knife and watch their faces turn real white. I love all that blood. I told one lady to give me all her money. She said no. So I cut her and pulled her eyes out."

Buffalo Bill did kill people. The lotion bit was so that his victims had good skin after he took it off of them and wore it. He's like the serial killer version of Ed Gein. Gein didn't really kill many people, I think maybe only 2. Mostly he grave robbed.

Carl Panzram is the serial killer that intrigues me the most, due to his sheer nihilism. I even got Nico Claux (the "Vampire of Paris") to paint me his portrait.
I'll share some of his other delightful prose with you...
"I was so full of hate that there was no room in me for such feelings as love, pity, kindness or honor or decency, my only regret is that I wasn't born dead or not at all."
"I hate all the f*cking human race. I get a kick out of murdering people."
"In my lifetime I have murdered 21 human beings, I have committed thousands of burglaries, robberies, larcenies, arsons and last but not least I have committed sodomy on more than 1,000 male human beings. For all these things I am not in the least bit sorry."
"I sat down to think things over a bit. While I was sitting there, a little kid about eleven or twelve years old came bumming around. He was looking for something. He found it, too. I took him out to a gravel pit about one-quarter mile away. I left him there, but first I committed sodomy on him and then killed him. His brains were coming out of his ears when I left him, and he will never be any deader."
"You will find that I have consistently followed one idea through all my life, I preyed upon the weak, the harmless and the unsuspecting. This lesson I was taught by others : Might makes right."
"I made up my mind that I would rob, burn, destroy, and kill everywhere I went and everybody I could as long as I lived."
"I have no desire whatever to reform myself. My only desire is to reform people who try to reform me, and I believe the only way to reform people is to kill'em. My motto: Rob'em all, rape'em all, and kill'em all."
"I wish you all had one neck and I had my hands on it."

I spoke with Ed Kemper on many occasions. He was in and out of lucidity, due to his medication. He shot his grandmother through the kitchen window while she was washing dishes. His grandfather came home so he met him out side and shot him from behind. After he was released from youth correctional facility/state mental hospital, he then killed his mother, decapitated her and ground her vocal cords in the garbage disposal. He then went on his killing spree, killing coeds. He was known as the "COED KILLER". During one of his parole hearings he was asked if released would he kill again. His response," Ofcourse, look at me, if your dumb enough to get in a car with me you deserve to die." Ed has to duck a little to walk through a doorway, he is tall and a large man now.
Fiction:Sir William Gull, (From Hell) - No man amongst you is fit to judge... the mighty art that I have wrought. Your rituals are empty oaths you neither understand nor live by. The Great Architect speaks to me. He is the balance where my deeds are weighed and judged... not you.
