My website, www.thegrindhouse.com , is taking on a huge undertaking. We are going to build the largest database of indie horror films on the net. Each film will have it's own page full of info as well as a link to your official site. All you need to do is submit the info to me at lee@thegrindhouse.com.
Submit whatever info you like. Teaser poster, cast, crew, production status, dvd availability. Whatever.
Be sure though to let me know what genre you would like your film to be classified in. Slasher. Zombie. Werewolf. Nature Run Amok. ETC. ETC.
Contact me at lee@thegrindhouse.com if you would like to know more!
Together we can help bring Independent Horror to more people.

Would it have User reviews? that'd be the coolest.
Also, Would you accept anything? Like a short films for collage or something shot in some one's backyard?

If the Grindhouse staff have access to the actual film, reviews will be included.
I'm not too sure on your other question yet. What do the rest of you guys think? Should we include them?
I'm hoping to have it started later today, with a few films to start with.

I think including short films is kind of a must - seeing as most shorts are available online for everyone to see. I think if there is no chance of seeing a film (either on dvd or online) then what's the point of including it? Nobody's gonna see them. Surely the best thing for a databse is to include all the stuff that people actually have a chance in hell of seeing?

I'm thinking viewer reviews is something we steer clear of. One of the biggest problems with outside reviews is that shilling will dupe quite a few people and as people begin to get angry after being lied to or tricked into watching a movie...they're going to point their finger at TGH. I've seen it happen.
I say...make the pages, get the info up and let others decide what they wanna do. Perhaps we can get a review forum going ONLY for viewers brought to films by TGH.

The temporary Indie Horror Reference section is down for the moment. It will be back Wednesday, with roughly 20 entries. That is if I don't get anymore by then. In which case there will be who knows how many!

Wow great,
funnely enough I got alot of info on my films done the other week for a Scottish Film showing wich I decided not to send off to as it would never make it in time, plus most of the independant film places in Scotland and the U.K turn there noses up at horror and Action. That's why we make so much boring Ponsey Sh*t.
I'll send off what info I have soon.

What a great thing to do! Not sure if you can put this out
hardcoreone2.
Just for info I'm looking to adapt on of my stories into a short, it would be a great opportunity for a filmmaker to show case. I've done as simular thing with a film company and Terminus. Visit www.terminusfilm.co.cc
If there's anyone out there that feels they can produce the same quality or better that Terminus, but as zombie showcase. I'd be happy to hear from you.
