View Full Version : NECA grabs the right to make Dawn figures and merchandise...

It was announced earlier this year that the rights to George Romero's classic zombie film Dawn of the Dead were up for grabs. NECA just grabbed the rights and will begin making merchandise including action figures and t-shirts of Dawn of the Dead properties.

flyboy looks pretty sweet. the only thing i could see that was still missing (aside from color obviously) was the revovler he continued to carry after being zombified.

I was going to get the resident evil 4 action figures but i think i'd rather get these instead. I mean I would like to have all of them but I know that the re4 figures are like $50 each, I am guessing it will be at least that for the dawn ones.

Actually, these upcoming NECA Dawn of the Dead figures are very reasonably priced at around 12.99-$14.99 each. The attention to detail is incredible and they are pretty high quality figures.

really?!? i'll probably get all of them then. So the figures will be the 4 main characters I presume and who else?

I would presume that we will be seeing figures for all of the main characters and most likely will see some of the key zombies like Hatchet Head and the redneck zombie. There's always the possibility of a Blades figure but I don't know if the Land of the Dead Blades figure can be topped, it's pretty damn cool.
