Dead Awaken - New Zombie Browser MMORPG!

Hey everybody! We've just released a new online game based in a post zombie infestation world. Join the fight for humanity and take a stand against the undead. Or join their ranks and feast on the flesh of the living!

We've just started the game a couple days ago and are growing quickly.

OK, a few tips on how to succeed in Dead Awaken:

Spend all your early skill points in combo and/or counter.

Spend your first 5 stats points in accuracy, then continue to spend on strength, defense, and accuracy. ignore intelligence or spend minimally on it, make sure you keep speed up to at least 1/3 of your highest stat.

Part of the strategy of Dead Awaken in its current form is knowing when to stay dead. System resets are at noon and midnight, system time. What this means is that at that time everyone, dead or not, is resurrected with full health and is killable again. Since you loot money off those you kill, the following points are worth noting:

1. DO NOT fill up on health during hours when almost nobody else is alive. You will get vulched by a higher level within seconds due to a target poor environment.

2. DO remember that you are safe while wandering the graveyard, but only if you keep moving. You can't hide in there and leave the page inactive.

3. DO try to log on at system reset time and attack as many people of your level or lower as you can. You will probably get killed several times during this, but as long as you keep attacking reasonable targets, you should come out ahead.

4. DO stay dead when you are down to just a couple stamina points. No use running out of stamina and refilling your health so someone else can beat you down and rob you.

5. DO create a throw-away account and go through the trouble of filling out the registrations for all the "let us spam you" offers. It supports the site, and you get hearts, which are very helpful in increasing your character's power. DO NOT fill in your real address, name, etc unless you like getting lots and lots of SPAM!

6. DO consider selling some of your hearts/heads. Selling these will net you a decent amount of money with which you can buy weapons and armor.

7. DO NOT sit on any more of your money than you have to--invest it! The longer you sit on it, the more chances for you to get beaten up and robbed. Save up for what you are wanting to buy and buy it asap.

Using these pointers, I have advanced fairly quickly and am currently at level 4, with the max level achieved by a player so far being 8.

Also, apparently plans are in the works to change the code so that high levels can't attack newbies, which should improve the survivability ratio of us lowbies.

Are you talking about the little popup where you have to type in the number that you see in the picture? If so, everyone has to do that, it is to defeat macroers. If not, if it is specifically preventing you from playing because it says that you personally are using macros....hmmm.

Maybe your pop-up blocker is triggering it? I've no idea really what would cause it, you might try posting in the pub (forums) and see if Dan or one of the staff can look into it.

I have that problem too, I'm a level 4 now so i get attacked by the same guys all of the time! I have been donating my cash to my horde, just until i level up a bit more.

Ever since I became level 5, everyone and eveything gives me an absolute whupping! I can't go near the graveyard as I seem to have a zero chance of defeating ANY zombies there now. Plus I can't find the caretaker to get any missions anyway!! :x

man this game is amazing! im addicted lol even donated which is unlike me lol im lvl 17 so if anyone needs help then ask me in gmae my user is the same as on here :) here are a few hints which disagree with the help given earlier....

first of all the most important stat is SPEED i would say train this to about 20 before doing anything once you have done this train strength to 10 you now have your base stats! okay well every 100 inteligence you get it gives you a 1 in 10 chqnce of getting a bonus while training so once you have the base stats do this straight away the top 10 or so players in the game have done this and pulled a lead above the rest one of them been me lucky i done it early. yes you will fall behind the rest who dont do this and will get killed alot but once you get 100 intel you will zoom past them. with the new attacking rule i say attack, attack, attack at resets.. you gt healed any way so kill as many as you can as im a high level and get killed once a week lol i can make alot of exp this way and so can the lower leveles with the new rules, to keep your money safe try getting into a horde and message the leader to look after your money. so if you have 10k and want it safe donate it to he horde/mob until you want it back. oh yes one more thing im sure everyone will agree if you can kill someone named LORD sufc currentl;y lvl 13 do so as much as possible and dont fall for his tricks and dirty ways :) good luck i promise i will not kick your arse every second maybe once now and then :) lol

I absolutely LOVE this Game...The usual for me on the net is all work and no play till I found it...

Since I joined up I have looked at other games, but NOTHING compares to dead awaken.....

it's a browser game dude. i can give you screens but there not that interesting :lol: all u are reqird to have is a computer, a moniter, and some kind of internet connection...thats it

Yeah I was in this for a bit. Even made it very high in the Regulators.

But after months and months of the same thing I had to bow out. Glad I did before I started to hate it.

I didn't like that it was more of a management game than a real game. It was like playing with a calculator. And since I didn't fraternize with the peeps it didn't make it worth it to me.
