This is probably one of the most anticipated independent zombie films for me. I've been watching it develop for months now. Man, the trailer looks great. The zombies are awesome. The gore looks good, what else can you ask for? A release! Hurry up guys!

Oooh, very nice. The intro on the website kinda threw me offtrack because it had me thinking it was some sort of goth/emo thing. But once I saw the trailers, my fears were alleviated. :)

Looks awesome. Someone should try contacting Cereval and let him know what's gone down with the board. When's the last time anyone heard from him?

I occasionally post on Cereval's forums. He seems pretty intelligent and he's changed his over a few times. I'm sure he'll get the idea of what happenned.

Hey, what do you want from me? I'm a lazy bastard, and proud of it. Besides I'm at work, and the computer here is really old, and what makes things even worse, it has a super slow Internet connection.
BTW, I'm a nice guy, really. And to prove it, here's the URL for Circling the Drain on ATZ. Just in case anyone else wants to read it:

Where do you work at, BZN?
For a water company, in the southern New York area. Of course, I can't be any more specific than that (you understand), but we do around 10 million gallons daily. With my around the clock schedule, I am probably one of the few members here, that is actually getting paid, while posting messages.
What do you do to make ends meet? :dollar:

I work in private security. I'm also working on my next book. It's a compilation of local legends. The paranormal and the occult. Stuff like that. When I'm done with that, I plan to finish a story I started in college about the end of the world.

Wow. The pictures look great. It will be great to see a quality zombie flick using the Romero Shuffle after the financial success of the Dawn remake. If the makers are looking in here for any reason, We're all behind you 100% :D

That's not a problem. I have a horse. I can be on location whenever they're ready.

I don't know what their budget is like, but it would probably be totally blown, flying down to your place. Since, there would be no money for film, you would have to put on a theatrical version of the movie. Have you ever done any Broadway? And, how does the horse fit into your revised script? You're not planning anything weird are you?

What about the movie "Dead Life" It looks kike it has promise. Is it finished? released? I read a review about a zombie movie a year ago that said a U.S. Zombie filmed in Washington state or Oregon was quite qood with little money. Even had car chases? I hope not zombies driving. That would make running zombies look good. Ant word on "Dead Life?"

Yes Major You are right. As to Circling the Drain It is frustrating because every time I try and watch the teaser for circling the drain it will not open even with 'real time'. To be honest I put Dead Live here because I couldn't figure out how to start a new topic either. But I think I figured it out and will do so. Thanks for the heads up

I did talk to him once months ago and he said he had to push back shooting which pissed him off. If i hear from him i will let yall know whats going on. im gonna go sleep now........... :?

Put a fork in it!
According to horror-movies.ca, Circling the Drain in finished.... And I don't mean completed... I mean dead after 2 years, and 7 months of production.
I really had high hopes for this one, as did many of you... What a shame. :-(
On the bright side... There will be a 30-45 release, accompanied by a "making of" documentary.

It's sort of odd that so many people few fewer resources and less money succeeded where they failed. Sure, maybe the movies weren't much good, but at least they finished them.

I too mourn the loss of this film. The pics and footage I got to see looked great. That, and a hot-looking chick in PJs. Ummm. Well, I recall they were looking for additional funding. I suppose it's a shame they found none.

Its really sad that they went through so much to get this thing done, and then they couldnt even finish it. I guess when you try for professional looking quality you run into the biggest disadvangate to the indy film maker, Money.
Damn shame.
But, atleast we get a documentary and at least part of the movie.

yeah that does suck
It will probably turn out to be a good piece of information, for indie filmakers to learn from and such.

I just finally watched the trailer for this and then read most of the last page. So it got canned or something? That sucks ass!! That brunette with the short hair was amazing! (I've got a SEVERE fetish for short haired girls! ) Is there still a remote possibility of this coming out sometime?

I remember talking to the director on AIM quite often back in 2003 (or was it 2004?) and he was always saying that money was the biggest issue they were running into, trying to get more money raised and such. wonder when this doc/"Chapter 1" will be released

Whats wrong with selling crack, or putting your girlfriends ass on the street for a week or two?
Then you could have major stars (like Danny Bonaduce, Parker Stephenson and Linnea Quigley) in it, get a cool surround sound going, heaps of CGI, and maybe have change for a Cadillac.
