is there any free big massive multyplayer online zombie game thats fun?
i mean i know of age of the dead and urbandead but aotd didnt comeout yet and urbandead is just a paper pencil rpg.

if i can get a company started then ill try to make a zombie mmo but not a total rpg but a first person shooter with rpg skill build up type set up. i share your interest to see what a zombie mmo that had the popularity of SWG, WOW, and EQ 2 have but in an action type setting with perhaps more than just first person view but also third person. It would probably have alot of towns like the one in Land of the Dead but usually minus the rich basterd

If you did that, that would be amazing, I'd help if I could but I wouldn't be much help, except for "moral support". And maybe ideas, but anyone can do that.

someone should make a game like runescpe but zombies and monsters instead of magical creatures and ogres. The setting should be like urban style, just to say i dont like turn based ames and i do not like games like URBAN DEAD!!!

Yeah. It won't be the 'money' in developing it if you got volunteers and stuff but would cost money to run the server...which is why many MMO's cost money

I've been hoping for an MMOFPS zombie game with some aspects of RPG for years. It needs to have huge maps so that survivors have a lot of area to explore. A player should be able to set up a sanctuary; a house, apartment, farm, underground base, island with boat, or some such. Maybe have it based on level building.

A player should start out with no weapons or skills (outside of possible class skills, such as police officers have weapons skills, doctors have medical skills, and so forth). They should have a multi-class character set-up so that a player can have an interesting and fairly unique character. Allow for a wide variety of clothes, body armor, and vehicles as well as the most important items: the weapons. It must have a super-wide variety of weapons. Maybe even flying vehicles.

The zombies need to have at least a 1000 variations on their skins (or appearance). And, they should be almost everywhere. Movement through a city should be extremely hard on foot. But, the environment will need to become fully interactive. There should be no place that a character could not go to, climb over, dig under, or walk or climb through. Some walls should be made so that a player can bust through in an escape, if they have an axe or a sledgehammer.

They should have instanced dungeons set up. Places like gun shops, grocery stores, and shopping malls or even sewer systems. City of Heroes already has a lot of this stuff, including ZOMBIES, in their game.

But, I don't want any super-zombies from Resident Evil or whatever. I want either the standard Romero zombies or the updated fast-running zombies from DOTD (2004). But, they have to be everywhere. A player would need to conserve ammo and plan moves. In some cases, the player may have to get cornered and call for help. If actual players fail to come within like five or ten minutes, then the zombies break in and (maybe) some NPCs will come to your aid.

im really looking forward to exanimus, though I am unsure If i am going to play it yet seeing how im a Ex raging everquest addict, I played eq literarly 18 - 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for 6 + years, so another MMO might not be the best idea... though a zombie based MMO like exanimus might be hard to say no to :doh:

Yeah, baby! I'm a former SWG addict. Yep, 90th level invincible Jedi. I have not lost a fight in-game in like two years. So, I quit. It was just not fun anymore. I also played WOW for a few months, but it did not keep any real interest for me. I want ZOMBIES!!!

gosh don't we all wish for this...i've been wishing for 4 years now. i've been taking some classes and been working on a couple small zed games myself, mostly just a white or black box shooting green slow boxes. but hopefully in time i can make somthing worth playing...perhaps even online?

Hey ive been waiting a long time to and im just as upset. Also pissed that im playing the same freaking game over, and over with the same deal and the same thing EVERYTIME!!!!!! :x

I was thinking that we Should make a game like right after the outbreak but before the apocolypse, So there could be a fair amount of survivors, food, weapons and any other essentials. The ability to go into buildings or - or to use makeshift barricades and if an item is to heavy to move other survivors can help with the zombie fighting. Then there should be a time cycle like after 30 days the Zombies evolve. There should be several other cities and survivors. The ability to drive cars would be nice. So, basically what im getting at is we put all the games we have ever played, into one. People should have there own personality


But i wouldnt know..., im just an idea guy who wants somthing that will never happen just like the rest of us.

Me:Well, Actually I think there should be a meter on the battery guage that effects the light produced by the flashlight to make the gameplay appear more realistic. For example low battery-low shining ability and vise versa. There should also be different types of batteries having different types of statistics. Example:
DURACELL: ////////////////////////Energizer:
battery power: +25%/////////////Battery power: +10%
Light-Production ability:+10%////Light production ability: +25%

I think that i would be very useful For future projects. Give me what you got and i can handle it.
